With it's imminent release and a lot of people getting excited for it, time to see what people think of War for Cybertron!

I myself am very excited for this game and can't wait for next Tuesday to get here. The ability to customize TFs in multiplayer was what really sold me on it. My first thought was, "Autobot Spartans in HD FTW!!"

It's going to keep me busy with the 3 player co-op. I'm going to be playing it with a buddy of mine who's best friend died a couple of years ago. This is important since she was the biggest transformers fan either of us knew, was born the year transformers started, and her birthday is within days of the release.

It's going to be a nice birthday present, with luck i'll get mine in the post a little early.

Im gonna wait. I refuse to pay full price for a game that will be nearly half the price in less than a year....

That said, I am looking forward to when I do finally play it.

I couldn't choose between Option 1, 2, and 4. Though i've already been quite distracted between missions, and i don't think it'll be the complete death of HMW, so i just went with Awesome.

I haven't pre-ordered mine yet though, and with it being a week away among other things with the exclusives, i doubt i will. I'll just most likely pick it up sometime next week. Because the characters can only be used in Escalation mode, and i don't really see myself playing that mode all too often. Survival type modes like that can be fun from time to time, but i'll spend more of my time in MP and Campaign

Honestly I don't know yet.

As the Wii version is the only one I can play, I am waiting to see how that one ends up before I decide to drop money on it.

Right with ya Editor by the time i have my own place again with a console beyond ps2 online I may aswell wait for DNF haaahh haah just relized DNF is did not finish or the word of curse to be broke here.

Very much so. I've found I rather like Conquest mode: there seems to be a lot of XP to be had there.

At least for me untill i get tired of playing WFC 24/7

Probably won't kill HMW but will likely lose quite a few during non work times.

True, but that gets a little boring after a while. Gotta keep things fresh.

I think that the few people that are active in the threads will still "play" HMW, however for those that are infrequent will actually be playing WFC. I think the game will be awesome and I will keep coming back to this place to upgrade my bots and run a muck around the threads posting wherever and whenever I please to say my bit every now and then and keep the spirit of HMW alive, even if it is run by a bunch of snarling, smack-talking, edgy, tenacious servers that have to be reset every now and then because they act up.

WFC: new game costs, extra content costs more, plus consoles are required.

HMW: free

Not everyone can afford to be running out immediately just because the game hits retail.

probably see a drop in numbers on both sides. when i get home from this sand prison that im currently at i'll have more then just WFC to distract me.

Pure insanely awesome. So awesome it might kick Halo 3 off my Favorite Games Evur list.

Not sure when I can afford to buy the game but I doubt it will effect my HMW playing much if at all.

Results are in, looks like people will definitely still be playing HMW while also wasting time on WFC.

Perhaps work will suffer?
