Reality. It's time you had a dose of it.
And seriously, quit your crying. That game would be instantly banned in Australia because the Government refuses to make a classification for games like that.

I'm 15, and I'm getting this game no matter what. The government cannot deny me my rights! ...I guess.

Yeah they can, actually. Like alcohol. Any place selling M-rated games to minors needs to see valid ID proving you're 18 years or older. This isn't a new law, mind you, it's been in place for a good long while now.

Well, there's this place near me that sells M rated games to me without any ID. It's like the underground drug dealing of video games I guess. Either way, my parents let me buy any game.

There were times when I'd shoot a baddy in the head like 5 or 6 times before they even noticed I was there. Other than that it was the same old non-linear path through a ruined city FPS game we've all seen 456 times. There are way better games out there that don't need to be controversial to get attention.

I don't think it was trying to be controversial. The people who made it also made freaking Painkiller. This crazy over-the-top violence is average for them.

Yeah that kind of violence is nothing new, I was talking about the names of the skill shots that's causing the buzz. That seems like the kind of thing they put in just to ruffle some feathers and to get a bunch of prudes to complain which draws attention to the game.

I think they were going for both. Anyone not living under a rock should know that having anything remotely sexual in a video game is sure to get people foaming at the mouth. They'll try to get the game banned before it's released without even seeing the content that got them so pissed off in the first place(remember Mass Effect?). So they had to know they were going to cause a fuss.

Exactly. When you hate everything, everything will try its hardest to hurt you. You may think it can't, but it's because you're still young. In a few years, you'll either learn to let go of your "hate," or you'll be completely and utterly broken by the world.

I know! That is why I do hate everything. I can't wake up in the morning without a thousand things randomly trying to kill me at once.

You know what? Instead of playing video games, join a theatre group. You seem to have a talent for melodrama.

Even worse is that he reminds me of myself when I was his age. So, and speaking from experience here, things are going to get a lot worse before they get better.
