Yea sorry, but the Voyager Onslaught wins this round. Sure it costs 40 more, but you get a good Onslaught out of it plus all of this. It also looks better.

Where did you pull that $40 more from? The Microblaze version doesn't even have any pre-orders available.

We had it on either FB or here when the first combined mode pics where released, it included a few pieces of information, one of the bits was that it would cost around $90, wasn't it you who posted that update?

Any info on a G2 or Takara version yet ? Thinking of buying this just incase voyager Onslaught never comes out or only gets made in SDCC colors.

I'm on board with Microblaze as well. $55 for a few parts that don't fix Onslaughts size issue isn't worth it, not with that lovely Voyager in the works!

Microblaze version for sure! Plus creator of this don't like us here =X

Its unfortunate Voy Onslaught is coming out, because I was truly interested in this. It does have its merit but having a Voy Onslaught with additional pieces that also alter the other 4 means I'm going with that instead. This kit fixes some issues but there's still the poopy Del Onslaught figure that is just not any good.

So shouldn't it be the other way around - that it's unfortunate that Echo's kit is coming out given the apparent superiority of the Microblaze product?

Its unfortunate that this set, dispite it being of minor interest to many, now seems like it may end up in the parts box, along with X-Transbots KO of the Crazy Devy Devastator kit?

Yes !!! I pre-ordered that G2 set on the spot ! And if they do a Takara set I'm all over it too ! Will I buy the voyager Onslaught ? Of course I will. But who knows how long before it's done in G2 colors ? 60 bucks isn't such a bad deal to fill in a gap that might take the other company a year to fill.

So I guess this means we wont be seeing the colored versions in December ? I have no use for this set, but I'm happy for any customizers out there who might make something cool. This special set keeps hope alive that they might also cater to the small amount of fans who bought the Takara versions.

I think they are producing these in black because there is demand for it. Some people liked how the black prototypes looked on the sets from the pictures released a while back. Thought I read that somewhere anyway...

Oh, very true! I just wish I had MaddPaintingSkillz to buy these and paint them to match one of my sets. I think it could look very cool.

But, alas, like many others here, I'll have to wait to see if a color matching set comes out and I can afford it.

Hmmm, I forgot about Ruination. I have the figures but have never combined them. Arent the Hasbro hands and feet reversed on those versions of the molds? This moght affect where the new parts snap on and require some pins to be removed or swapping out with Fruticus parts...
