There is more to Transformers than movies, cartoons, comics and toys. Discuss anything else Transformers here.

Another post that was started in a similar regard was seemingly moving slightly off topic (Your Better Half, and your Collection.) I figured lets open the subject a bit further to our families.
I have three boys:
5yr old - Loves just about all of them and has a hard time understanding why Beast Wars and other transformers are no longer sold in stores.
3yr old - Loves Rescue Bots but would say Hotshot is his favorite... Which often means Bumblebee becomes Hotshot...
1yr old - Loves to steal his brothers toys from them.
Wife - Would say, "You must be proud." that my boys are getting into this hobby also...
I work remotely as a Web Developer so I am home with my boys all the time and they to are slowly building up a nice collection of opened and seemingly in (Errhem... Mostly complete toys...)
I can remember my kids first time they got to see my collection in my current house. A long drawn out (OH WOW!) Though my collection is rather humble in regards to some on here sitting at just over 200.
What does your family think about your collection?

Wife puts up with it (as said in other thread...don't think anyone else would put up with my craziness).
Now my youngest is not responsible only a couple of months old but my two yr old...Every time he goes in our room he spies my collection (or what is out at the time) when it was on the lower shelves he loved looking at the beasties (this was at the point the shelves were themed so beast wars had multiple shelves to their own. ).
I do let him play with them (the ones that I know can take the punishment) as they are kids toys after all (and we are all kids at heart) and it's a special thing that I can share with my children as long as they are interested.

My nephew is somewhat interested but dealing with his adult stuff- my mom thinks my toys are "cute". my sister correctly ID'd Optimus Prime in a lineup of 2.
mostly my family thinks of it as one of my quirks but no one is particularly intolerant
bear in mind I am the youngest of 6 kids, and since I am 40+ years old, everyone else is getting up there- my mom is 80+ and the sister I mentioned is looking forward to retirement with great hopes

My family don't mind once I'm happy.
My nieces and nephews really like the robots in Uncle Marks house. The oldest is 4 so they're quite young. But they're all very good and respectful of them.
I've no problem letting them play with them. It'll be a cold day in the Inferno when I stop a child playing with a toy.
