Whiteshadow's Bio
FUNCTION: Autobot Ranger
PROFILE: Whiteshadow's cool, level-headed demeanour hides a spark burning for vengeance. Turning her knowledge of the stars and spaceflight expertise to use in the Autobot war effort as a Ranger she applies the same rigorous detached logical methodology she once used in the course of scientific endeavor to the most difficult reconnaissance sorties, offensive operations or even simple secure communications courier missions.
She still looks to the stars and talks about them, a lot, she has a reputation as the 'star bore' with the rest of the Autobots. Only Slingblade can put up with her hours-in-length treatises on different star types and galactic clusters, a fact that irks her somewhat due to his "woolly headed" more mystical philosophy on the nature of the universe rubbing her rational scientific approach the wrong way, she still seeks him out during downtime for conversation though.
Whiteshadow was a talented mid-level Astrophysicist at the Altihex Galactic Observatory when the Decepticons attacked the orbital torus state. Escaping the Observatory's destruction by pure chance, being on one of the outer observation decks when a high yield proton detonation obliterated the facility. Injured but blown clear by the resulting explosion she managed an emergency forced landing in time to see the Decepticon forces annihilate a habitation block of fellow Neutrals. She swore she would avenge them that day, had her protoform reformatted from a simple starship to a state-of-the-art stealth starfighter and, having seen their determination in defence of the fallen torus state, approached Slingblade directly with a request to join his unit. He and the rest of the A' Blades were suitably impressed during a sparring session between potential recruits and accepted her into the newly expanded Special Operations Force.
ABILITIES: In robot mode she uses a Twin-Barreled Fusion-Powered Photon Sniper Rifle that shoots powerful blasts of photonic energy which can penetrate even the most heavily armoured targets. For melee combat she wields a High Frequency Battle Blade.
As a stealth starfighter, armed with wing-mounted High-Energy Laser cannons, Plasma Bombs & Heat-Seeking Missiles, Whiteshadow can reach speeds of 40,000 mph using her low-profile gravimetric thrusters. Her airframe is radar & scan reductive and she is equipped with her own transwarp drive for long haul faster-than-light travel, however she has a limited range compared to larger cybertronian starcraft (like her comrade Lodestar).
WEAKNESSES: Rapid atmospheric reentry can compromise Whiteshadow's stealth capabilities and her high-powered weapons and transwarp drive's core can be a rapid drain on her energy systems.
