Wildflight's Bio

FUNCTION: Autobot Tracker

PROFILE: Despite his pre-war career as a professional game hunter, leading hunting parties across the wildernesses of Cybertron, Wildflight is one of the more pacific Autobots. He was actually attached to the cybertronian conservationist society, manning non-lethal hunts, scientific study projects or mandatory population culls. Wildflight took pleasure in the intellectual challenge of the hunt, the pitting his wits and skills against his prey. He tries to deal with the war by framing combat missions as a form of hunt. His guided hunts were more about educating his fellow cybertronians about the diversity of cybertronian life. On the outbreak of war when he joined up he had to have his Semi-Automatic Hunting Rifle refitted into a Laser Rifle as he had previously only used anaesthetic Stun Bolts.
Wildflight is an outdoors type far more comfortable out in nature. Be it forests, deserts, jungle or mountains he prefers being out in the wild to civilisation.

Assigned to the same Long Range Recon Patrol unit as Slingblade, Scarlock and Plaindrifter, Wildflight provided the covering fire at the Fall of Altihex, his speed and accuracy giving him the reputation of being among the best of the Autobot's sharpshooters. Has target shooting contests with Plaindrifter during downtime as few other comrades will take him on.

ABILITIES: With his armor-piercing Semi-Automatic Laser Hunting Rifle Wildflight can hit a beer bottle sized object from 400 yards away.
Wildflight is an excellent survivalist, knowledgeable about many different types of terrain and useful resources that are available in surrounding environments as well as being an able field medic, skills honed during his tracking days.
In both modes his optical sensors can see and record objects as small as a tin can from 170,000 ft high and their range runs the full extent of the electromagnetic spectrum as well as being capable of image intensifying Night Vision.
Heuristic pattern recognition programming in his visual processors mean that his enhanced vision is sharp enough to pick up minor visual discrepancies that allow him to find even the most minor of visual tracks, he can even detect all but the most sophisticated holographic camouflage.
In Falcon mode, Wildflight can fly at speeds of up to 350 mph with a range of 2500 miles. Has razor sharp talons, and in robot mode a Razor Tipped Wing Sword, but only uses them as a last resort, preferring ranged combat over close quarter.

WEAKNESSES: Despite training with Slingblade, Wildflight is all too aware that his smaller stature leaves him vulnerable to larger, stronger opponents and lacks confidence in close quarter and hand-to-hand combat.
