Courtesy of 78dm.net we have an extensive gallery of Transformers Prime "Beast Hunters" Voyager Optimus Prime. This figure is a brand new mold featuring "Beast Hunters" signature spiky armored style, and also see Optimus Prime returning to a cab-over type of truck. He comes with packed with two Ionic Pulse Launchers and the Star Saber.
For size comparison the figure has been posed with Transformers Prime "Robots in Disguise" Voyager Optimus Prime, as you can see the "Beast Hunters" mold appears to be quite a bit beefier. A couple of the images also feature his wavemate "Beast Hunters" Voyager Predaking, so more images of him are likely forthcoming.

Actually a cool looking figure. i'm still getting a dotm skyhammer feel though , so far the only autobot BH i will pick up. That swords sweet as well .

This figure looks more and more like a good idea with bad execution.
I want to like this figure, but it just looks too simple. It doesn't even appear as though the feet can be placed flat.
This would be better as a Deluxe.
This must be a move on Hasbro's part to purposefully dumb down TFs; I can't imagine that the toy designers could get this bad at making interesting, poseable TFs in only a few years, especially after seeing the level of complexity in the ROTF figures and post-ROTF Generations figures.

Does anyone else notice that Hasbro seems to be skimping less on the plastic? He's bigger than PRID Optimus, with beefy accessories. Also, the back of his legs aren't all hollowed out like PRID OP. I for one am really glad to see that.

I was initially put off by the cartoony alt mode but I can see this as a worthwhile figure. The robot mode gives me a very Japanese old school robot vibe in its proportions kinda like mazinga z etc. he's pretty nice size wise too

I take back what I said when we first saw this guy. I am liking his jet pack, though I am going to ditch his sword for one or two of power master prime's black guns, oh or maybe Dotm voyager prime's gun, or maybe make an even longer run on sentence.

I want this!!! I want this now!!! This is the first time since classics that I can say this IS Optimus Prime. One small observation is that it appears we've moved from Prime=Ax to Prime=Sword. Anybody know if these are in hand overseas anywhere?

I was thinking that too when I picked up Voyager Soundwave. Not the best fig, but pretty hefty. Hav'n't got a deluxe fog since Vehicon, but Smokescreen looks big as well.

That vehicle mode is awful. The robot mode could be acceptable, but I prefer the other form. This is coming from someone who is accepting of new modes.

If the Autobots are up against Cybertronian dinosaurs/Yautjas, they would upgrade, no? And if the Autobots upgrade, then the Decepticons have to beef up their defensive and offensive capabilities as well, amirite?

What I wanna know is why would Knock Out building Optimus into a mean, red-blue-and-green, Decepticon/Predacon-killing machine? Perhaps as an effort to make a zombie puppet of death to do his (or Megatron's) bidding?
Making death-machines for evil purposes (and to an extent, good purposes) almost never goes well...

I still hate the green windows and have never been big on mouthy Primes, but this just went from 'sorta want' to 'totally badass'. Hasbro, I (mostly) approve. 
I agree this is sort of a return to the simplicity of the Unicron Trilogy lines (Cybertron mostly), but to me that's not such a bad thing, as long as the figures look cool.

This thing looks way more badass than I initially thought (though I was already sold on him). I just wish Hasbro would start painting the damn feux parts already, that or just not bother including them. It's dumb as hell to put fake wheels/tires in the bot mode only to leave them unpainted. Either shell out for the paint or don't bother with the cheats because blue wheels on the inner legs aren't fooling anyone.

While this gallery is an improvement to some of the earlier pics, he still looks like a Big Lots KO to me.

I must be in the minority, but I DO NOT like this figure, The aesthetic looks completely different than the first few seasons of Prime, and frankly, looks a LOT like Animated, which I never cared for at all. It looks way too Playskool to me. The robot mode is okay, but that head! It doesn't look at all like Optimus to me. The only way I could tell it's him (aside from the packaging) is the fact that it's a red truck with blue bed/legs.
Speaking of packaging, what's up with the Prime bios? They're barely a sentence or two long on the Deluxes, and as far as I've seen, non-existent on the Voyagers. Is that a new trend? Bumblebee's was barely even a sentence, and one that said he was a scout, and found some weapons. It's like Hasbro fired the copywriters and used the savings to make the toy bigger.
