New Images of Takara Transformers Arms Micron, MP-12 Sideswipe & MP13

AHHH YEAHH! That gives me hope that Breakdown might still coming for the US (Hasbro hasn't said much about him in a while which worried me).

Knockout's paint scheme looking much better than the US (for once with the takara RID line.. ), but I'm curious to know how much of that is stickers..

annnnddddd I hope that is Soundwave causeI'm pretty unexcited about MP-12 to be honest, but if a US version is released I'll check em' out.

the scale of sideswipe is worth noting, hopefully the price of MP12 reflects this, looks about alternator size.

We need a closer look at all of these figures, but for now they're looked promising, especially breakdown. Funny how we havent really seen him during the botcon (as far as I knew, no pictures of him aite?) and now he's all prepped up ready to go from the land of the rising sun! just gotten RID bulkhead, and now it's time for the decepticon equivalent to come into the collection.

Vehicon looks nice, especially if you go for army building and with each vehicon having their own mini-bots as partner/weapon, only the price is the main issue here (although those in Southeast Asia prolly have no probs with Tak's AM; RM9x.xx for AM deluxe in Malaysia? GRAABBBBB)

So these guys are here in the news... What happens to the Air vehicon and Thundertron?

Even with that black engine block on the hood and other AM ports, I prefer this Knockout so much more than the Hasbro paintjob.

And the names of the Microns are:

War Breakdown: Zamu (sai, or Rhino)
Starscream: ??? (Eagle)
Medic Knockout: Gura/Gra (kani, or Crab)
Decepticon Vehicon: Nozi/Noji (inoshishi, or Wild Boar)

I wonder why Starscream's doesn't show a name.

Wow, I was kinda expecting Sideswipe to be a little... taller. Not too tall, where he overtakes MP-10, but like Starscream, Grimlock, etc.; just the same height. Seeing that he's about Voyager size tells me that Takara/Hasbro is going to try something new here.

The Microns look okay... the best looking ones to me appear to be Breakdown's and Starscream's. Knockout's I don't even see and Vehicon's just looks downright dumb. It's a blaster with legs, for God's sake.

I'm with you. It looks like a shot taken from a different angle to me. Nothing about it says Soundwave to me. I am intrigued by the new direction Masterpiece is going.

Why is Knockout the only one with a United paintjob? Now that he's in the same picture as others, he clearly has the superior paintjob... Is Takara just being cheap, or trying to troll collectors? The whole line should have had that candy paintjob from the start!

As for Mp-13... It looks like Soundwave, but looking at the outline and general shape of the arms and legs, it looks like another MP-12 Repaint. I'll like to think Sunstreaker, but Sunstreaker's head has the antenna-things. Possibly Red Alert? Hopefully this thing's under $70US... I'm not paying more for something smaller than a regular Alternator...

wow, these actually look pretty sweet. Knockouts coloration looks a little better, Starscreams ok. The sticker treatment i think works with this vehicon, seeing as how he doesnt have many paint apps anyway. His gun looks sick, but i cant tell what its animal mode is. But i only count one set of added-on ports on the vehicon, which is a plus cuz theyre not obtrusive as far as i can tell

According to the page it's a Inoshishi, or a wild boar. Even I have trouble seeing that.

Breakdown looks good and I like what I see for Knockout.

I'm not crazy on prime but that vehicon figure is by far my favorite looking mould so far and that gun looks awsome i don't care what its supposed to turn into i'm not a fan of these animal weapons

Takara's Knock Out is even less show-accurate than Hasbro's already not-show-accurate version.

Starscream: FINALLY! We finally see Takara's Voyager version. What took them so long to show this?

Vehicon looks practically the same as the Hasbro version.

And MP Lambor's scale looks like he'll be similar to Voyager class-sized.

MP13 looks a little like Shockwave to me, though it looks like he has two fists. If it is Soundwave, where is his shoulder, umm.... gun/canon thingy? I'm liking the size of MP12, I'm glad they are finally bringing some order to the Masterpiece line.

It might just be me....but MP-13 looks like SHOCKWAVE!!!!!!! God willing that's the case, I'd be happy with him or good ol' Soundwave too.

That's their full Japanese names, in case you never noticed. And as funny and appropriate as "Nose" may be, "Nozi/Noji" is still closer to Inoshishi

It's probably a pun, since some English words in Japanese end with either an "o", "u", or "i" sound where they do not in English.

Example: "Cake" sounds like "Kēki" when spoken in Japanese.

Or, it could even be "Nosy".


As for Knock Out's, I think "Gra" might fit best, being a similar case to Gob: "Crab" --> "Cra" --> "Gra", like "Cobra" --> "Cob" --> "Gob".

I don't think I am interested in a MP Sideswipe if he is going to be Voyager sized. Part of the draw, for me, of MP's is that they are bigger than the figures in my Classics collection.

MP 13 looks like a picture of Sideswipe taken from a different angle. If it was supposed to be Soundwave, wouldn't they put his shoulder cannon on the other shoulder?

Sideswipe don't look bad though and it's kind of reasonable that he is smaller, but I hope that he will also be a lot cheaper that larger MP-toys for he is more like alternator/binaltech scale. However if he is going to be like 120-150€, then that is just a outrageous rip-off. But we will see that later.

Actually, I don't see it.

The shape of the hips and the elbow area does NOT match the MP-12 shape at all.

It cannot be a Lambor repaint.

I'm quite pleased that Takara decided to scale the MP line. Looks much much more natural to have scale in a TF line. It's a pleasant change.

Now if only we can convince Volkswagen to change it's mind so we can have the MP Yellow Bumblebee/Red Bumblebee/Blue Glyph/Green Wasp/Black Murderbee/Goldbug mold finally made.

They said mp-12 would be the size of a binaltech they want him to fit into mp-10 trailer this was said when he was first shown to us idk why everyone is so shocked at the size. And I love it he's in scale in alt mode we won't have a car as big as an 18 wheeler and as far as mp-13 goes that dose not look like sound wave to me BUT there is a 3rd party mp soundwave coming out by fantoys and maybe Takara is gonna try and squash it's release with a official soundwave. They are really tired of 3rd party taking the cash that should be theirs. So if that is what's going down it looks like we lite a fire underneath their a$$ when it comes to buying 3rd party and they might just start listing to the fans now,that would be great but we can only hope. And as much as I like sound wave I kinda hope it's someone else like an mp wheeljack or jazz not one of the main guys and when are they gonna do a proper bumblebee.

Oh ya I only read a couple comments I did feel like reading all 4 pages. I don't mind him being smaller I just hope he transforms like a mp and not a normal voyager or deluxe and he better not cost more than $80 to $100. Also his doors trunk and hood should open and I hope spike can fit inside of him

They still haven't painted Knockouts rims though.

If it's Sunstreaker, I'll be terribly disappointed. If it's Soundwave, I'll jump for joy. If it's Ratchet, I'll be somewhere in between; a little disappointed, but excited to know that there's the possibility of an MP Ironhide.

Doesn't really look much like him. If this is supposed to be Prowl/Bluestreak, this mold missing their shoulder-rocket-whatever-the-hell-they-ares. But I see where you're coming from, seeing how from the silhouette we're looking at the figure from a slightly angled perspective.

MP-13... looks like it could be a lot of things, but I'm going to speculate Soundwave. It's already been rumored, so it makes sense.

Ok I'm just gonna put this out there and I don't know how true it is but this guy I know says he knows a person who works at Takara. While the guy that works at Takara won't come out straight forward and tell him but gives him hints but this is what he told me. Takara and hasbro are tired of 3rd party so they wanna do 4 mp a year 2 new and 2 repaints. The next mp he said not me is ultra Magnus with trailer that turns into armor then a megatron v2 and then Galvatron and in between each new figure will be a repain of the new seeker mold u know skywarp thundercracker. They wanna do one autobot and one decepticon a year which they already started mp-11 SS the the repaint sun storm then the autobot sideswipe then another repaint which might be mp-13 a repaint of sideswipe then mp-14 might be Magnus then a repaint then Meg's v2 then a repaint then Galvatron. See how it goes autobot decepticon until the last 2 but like I said this is what someone told me but he's also told me other things and they have happened so who knows. And he told me this b4 mp-11 was announced or mp-12 so it's kinda going the way he said I guess we can only wait and see
