Official Photos for 40th Anniversary Blaster and Soundwave G1 Reissues

Oh my God, G1 Soundwave with show accurate colors looks so bloody good. Blaster ain't half bad either.

Does Soundwave have a new head, it looks like there's a lot going on with it. Both figures appear to use the original tape door design.

No. They just painted his cheeks silver in addition to his mouthplate, when the cheeks are usually left blue.

Definitely need to get both. Blaster's new deco isn't very drastic, but I love Soundwave in closer to Cartoon colors. I'd happily buy a Marvel Comics purple one, too.

Perceptor was apparently on Pulse today, missed that. There is a listing on Walmart.com, but it looks like it's going to be part of their next Collector Con on 10/13.

Distribution of this line is practically nonexistent in th US. Only one most of us ever saw was Starscream. It's online or nothing for most of us.

Went to my first Walmart today, they had two TFTM Retro Hot Rods hidden behind some other figures but the boxes were heavily beat up.

Good question, I was hoping to get maybe Kup, Blurr, and Wheelie in the Retro 86 line.

The last of the original G1 seekers has been released in Canada and the US. However, only the Hasbro Pulse orders shipped in the US while in Canada the toy has been found on Walmart shelves. We have a video review of the toy for you below.

Well, now I can't even say this one is in stores. They didn't even replace it with anything, they just stuck more Ninja Turtle movie stuff in its place.

Starscreams are still warming around here, and he's still the only one I have seen.

At least Hot Rod was good, he was the only one I wanted

I've been buying all of them and I can't wait to stick Missing Link Anime Prime with them next year.

BTW, Blaster and Soundwave were on Pulse and Walmart.com Friday. Soundwave sold before I could get him on Pulse but I was able to get Blaster. Both are sold out on Walmart.com. Hopefully they come back in stock. And at their normal price (on Walmart.com) and not their ridiculous random price markups on exclusives like their current $52.50 asking price for Thundercracker and Skywarp (and yes, that's the Walmart price, not a secondary seller).
