Yep, Takara have done it once again.
THIS is how you make a collectors' line. Every vehicle is super detailed/accurate and in-scale, every bot mode is pretty much spot on for screen accuracy and is super articulated.
This makes me wish Takara would take over the TFCC and do an entire line of collectors' edition TF's from various series, all with new molds. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE what the FunPub is doing with the subscription service and all, but my brain always ponders what life would be like if Takara took over such duties with their brilliant engineering and attention to detail, not to mention their undivided focus on adult collectors with lines like MP.

He mentioned that he is super excited about this figure. Lambor is one of his favorites. Lambor is a Lamborghini Countach (sp?). It continues in the Masterpiece line and he is pleased to introduce it. (And then he started mumbling and I couldn't understand him).
Love the look of the mold, with the exception of the plastic tires. Are rubber tires too much to ask for? Glad to see that Red Alert has a red head.

I also like the face that Hasbro is releasing something closer to the TT colors now-it's at least close enough that I don't feel like I'm missing out. The price difference also allows me to buy both the Japanese and American releases meaning having one to display in each mode from now on.
And I really hope the US releases of Soundwave is a big box set with SW and all the tapes and hopefully SS and RA will be released in a two pack since they're on the small side.
We'll see...

Frankly, I'd much rather have plastic tires. They aren't likely to just dry up and be useless after a few years.

I've had my MP-01 since the day he came out and his rubber tires are perfect. Matter of fact his battery for his matrix just died and I think I got him in 2003 so that's almost 10 years and his tires look the same and pretty good life for the battery. And is anyone else not really liking red alert that much

Can't help feel we are being ripped off......but I want.
Though I do hope the quality of the finish on the finished item will be higher than that in the photo, there were defects all over the place.

Same here. Every year, I make an effort to apply some Armor-All or Holts onto the tires on my MP-01, MP-10 and Alternity TF's.

LOL exactly. If the hand belonged to Andre the Giant, different story...
