Urgh, this guy does NOT look good. he looks like a horrible, blocky mess if I'm honest- the truck mode is good but jesus is that robot mode atrocious! The head especially just looks...bad.

I think I'll go with FP's offering.

gotta say, i dont really understand the hate for this guy. all he is is an updated suuuuper G1'ish motormaster, so he's doing everything he needs to do.

what i wonder is, in bot mode his comparison to MP10 makes him look huge but his combination of CW limbs looks right. i wonder if that torso mode will make him dwark the likes of superion or other CW combiners to come?

Price isn't bad, but I bet some colored images will help sell this guy. In addition to seeing exactly how he looks with the CW limbs.

Think the price is low and fair. Considering this is a Leader class triple changer combiner 3rd party toy that also comes with all those extras.

Know this is asking a lot from Bold Forms. But i'm hoping that Black car on Bold Forms Menasor's chest can pop off and CW Blackshot can peg in BF Menasor's chest. If not, Perhaps BF can remold the test shot toy to make it happen.

Here's some info that BBTS didn't share. Lone Wolf will come with a sword(silver), gun, roller/chest piece, waist piece, and a second set of articulated hands for Motormaster(not Menasor mode).

BoldForms will also be providing a set that offers feet and hands for combined mode in case you didn't like the ones Hasbro provided.

BoldForms also plans to release their version of the limbs.

When I get Blackjack I'll try it out. If not I'll contact them about that. Good idea.

Great job in taking all of those pics. You definately covered all of the bases. as far as showing off the articulation, Transformation and size comparisons.

I'm going to be buying this toy. As it's the best update G1 Motormaster Menasor toy i've seen thus far. Think it's galaxies better than the HasTak CW Menasor toy.

Love how much articulation this toy has. Love the big size class. Seeing the transformation was nice and beautiful

Noticed that Black car can comes off. Any confirmation if Blackjack can plug into Menasor's chest.

Thinking the Bold Forms guy might need to retool Lone wolf with the pegs necessary to atttach BlackJack to Menasors chest.

I have CW Optimus and CW Silverbolt. Don't yet have CW Blackjack. So I don't know what connecting pegs Blackjack has and how he pegs into CW Optimus Gestalt chest.

I don't have Blackjack yet so don't know about it connecting but I think he's in the mail. However I did pass the message along but haven't gotten a response back yet.

*note* The little black car that I showed in the picture belongs to G1 Motormaster. It's one of the things I wasn't provided.

What a bummer. It truly is MP scale. It is a beautiful figure in its own right, but doesnt work for classics outside of being a torso. For someone who wants to homage the vintage toy scale, this could work with the CW limb bots. But not for the more popular cartoon scale most go by with individual robot modes.

G1 Hexatron - how does this affect the size of Menasor compared to CW Motormaster? I take it Menasor will be growing a couple of inches?

I like the look of him, but he's too large for my Classics/Gen collection as an individual bot (although alt mode scales nicely). However, he makes for a brilliant Menasor torso and head and would be interested if he doesn't make the combined figure too big either.

i was wondering this as well. is there any chance we can get comparison shots of him with CW motormaster/prime, or next to a combined CW superion?

I don't have CW Motormaster so I wouldn't be able to tell you for sure but I can take a picture of him in torso mode next to Silverbolts torso if that would help. Probably won't be till Sunday night though. Got a lot going on right now.
