Heh just found black symbol Bumblebee at my local supermarket for AU$5.60, didn't pick him up though, got G2 Megatron and Starscream instead

There was also one that came out with that short run of Generasians repaints that were TRU exclusives. That's the one I've got. I'm sure it's the same as the one that came in whatever multipack the others are referring to.

Oh, great, one of those things I didn't know I wanted before: an armored Ultra Magnus in naked Magnus colors.

Hey Emerje, you'll have to explain that one to me (I still feel like a noob sometimes). That sentence left me stumped. How is he both armoured and naked?

I think he's thinking about putting THIS legends Magnus inside the the upcoming leader Magnus armor. Piloting and the like.

Actually I was talking about the backer card art showing a fully armored Ultra Magnus in the "Albino Prime" white and light blue colors. Now I kinda want to see Leader Magnus in those colors.

If by match you mean includes holes in the wings I'm not all that sure why you'd want that. I'm pretty certain they stopped including the rays even thought they continue to use the altered molds. The most recent release of Starscream didn't include them and Prime didn't come with the sword even though for a short time he did. By the looks of it neither Magnus nor SW include the extra weapons.

BTW, for anyone looking the usual places are Family Dollar and Big Lots. I think some drug stores (CVS? Walgreens? Rite Aid?) get them, too.

I was just about to point out that little oddity , but agreed, it does actually look pretty darn sweet.
As does skywarp, actually. If I see them I may well have to get these two and dig out my RTS classic legends figures.

Was motormaster a tweaked version of the rts optimus mold?

Also, while people might scoff at this line, the RTS megatron is probably the most G1 accurate Megatron toy we ever got.

Yup, in fact the so-called "GDO series" was the source of all the retooling done thanks to the extra weapons (sword for Prime, Null-Rays for Starscream, blasters for Hoist and Prowl). The retoolings carried over into the second run of 2012 re-release of Prime and Starscream (with weapons included) and the 2014 releases (without weapons).

Really? Oh my, that'd mean even that tiny Optimus that came with Stratosphere wouldn't work. On the other hand, that makes Minimus an impressive feat of engineering considering he looks like a full Legion figure.


Hmmm... IIRC that "Class of 84" Kreon set had a 'white Optimus' UM. Not exactly easy or cheap to get, and aesthetically off, but it's an option.
(suddenly, I'm disappointed there wasn't any cross-interaction of this type between Kre-O and Construct-A-Bots)

Probably be another seeker in there (Acid Storm, Sunstorm). Interestingly, you can flip the nosecone up, making the Starscream mold a conehead, though the wings wouldn't match if they did Thrust, Ramjet, or Dirge.

They could repaint Jazz into Stepper.

If they're really not concerned about accuracy, they could repaint Brawn into Outback.

Months ago in either May or June when the first wave of these legends/legions figures came out in the UK, the Argos catalogs said there are 9 to collect. Maybe these are the remaining 3 of the 9?

Yesterday, we found images of the new Ultra Magnus and Skywarp coming out as part of the Generations Legion class. However, the initial listings (listing them as imports and including no images) included a listing for Cliffjumper.

We finally have a picture of this toy as well, thanks to fellow Seibertronian Fuhzimota who also found him at Fred's, along with his other wavemates. Once again, this toy is not be be confused with Generations Legends Cliffjumper.

Here is the description of his finding

Cliffjumper, Ultra Magnus and Skywarp on the cheap!!! At Fred's in Columbia, MS found these listed for $3.65, they rung up at $3.00 Noticed differences in the paint apps versus the card backs; Skywarp's purple details are much darker- almost black, and Magnus' teeny tires are white; I think they actually look better...

Anybody know where that Magnus art is from?
