well, now that you mention it, Detroit Lions all star, Calvin Johnson has a very recognizable nickname.

Blue and Silver. I'm not a Lions fan, but Clavin Johnson is a phenom... and his nickname Megatron, was given to him by a team mate who is now a Chicago Bears player.

Once on the same team, now division rivals.... the parallels are really fun to think about...

If I remember correctly, he was givin a custom painted animated megatron as a trophy. It was on the front page. Now we just need an overly popular player who you see EVERYWERE to be nicknamed Bumblebee.
