We get a little in ireland-pretty much everywhere is near the sea because the country is so small, so although we often get snow during the winter-it doesnt stick around long.

Although I have spent a good bit of time in Finland and France (near enough to the Pyrenees)-so i ahve infact actively sought out snow (drove up the mountains for two hours a couple of weeks ago to go ledging, and even went as far as teh artic circle once)

Anywho, love snow-its never hurt me so I got no grudge against it

I'm going to take a guess and say you've never driven a car in it. Or driven in general. You'll quickly change your tune when you nearly or do go sliding off an enbankment.

Ha ha ha. Oh, I've driven in snow. I think its fun. Especially when I'm on the highway going 60 in whiteout conditions. That was fun. I actually like driving in inclimate weather.

Grew up most of my life in warm climates, like California or Florida (but I did live with my young parents in Alaska as a toddler, though), so I was really thrilled to see real snow for the first time when I went to college in Washington D.C.

I now live in New York and I love watch it snow and I also love examining pretty little snowflakes on my sleeves. I also like the cool icicles, though I hate walking on ice (once slid all the way down the stairs outside my apartment, BTW! )

I do like the winter and the snow, but I don't like the cold and the very short days, though. :?

I'm a Florida Baby, love the sun.

My mom is from Ohio and we used to go there for winter break to visit family. I love to visit snow, however, I could never live in it.

Winter is my favorite season, but that's because it's not 90 degrees like the rest of the time in Florida.

However, I am pretty warm blooded. It's funny when it's like 50 or 60 degrees and all the Floridians are wearing Parkas, I'm just chillin' with a T-shirt.

I live in the small town of Dunkirk New York, right near lake. It is impossible to escape snow here, especially lake effect. But I love the snow...except when its too bright because then I'm blind

There be no such thing in Wisconsin, says our Snowmobile trails anyways......

For those who don't get the joke, Wisconsin is supposed to get nailed with snow during the winter, however, this last couple of years, we have only been able to open our Snowmobile trails for 2-4 weeks, and then the snow on the trails is gone.

Yeah it was freaking annoying and dangerous, i saw many accidents happen right in front of me because of black ice and snow but thankfully i was never a part of them.

I hate the cold, but that said i miss it as it was truly beautiful so it has its ups and downs.

How long ago did you live in Rochester?I moved up here about 3 years ago from Brooklyn NYC.

We get snow about once in a blue moon down in Texas. Last time we had anything remotely close to snow was back in January, but it was really ice and slush. But it was awesome 'cause I got to miss school that day! So I went out and bought a bunch of TFs and was lazy the rest of the day.

I live in Sweden. Barring the southern tip and coastal towns in the southern half of the country, snow is a yearly occurance. Way up north (where I lived when I was younger) snow happens about half of the year. The other half is spring, summer and autumn.

So, yeah.

Snow's got its times and places. I do wish it would start a little earlier and end a little sooner these days, but without cold weather there's no hockey, so it's a necessity.

I'm in Minnesota, and while I hate shoveling and driving insnow, I love winter because I enjoy having four seasons. I couldn't live in a place where the weather is basically the same the entire year round.

I get to see snow for 3-4 months a year. It's very common around here in Northern Illinois.

Hey, it's pretty fun sliding around corners in a yard (where rigs and trailers park for those not in the know) though. 8) I'm just glad I don't have to actually leave the yard or I might really hate the snow in the winter.

Have you driven on a narrow country road with deep ditches either side while its so foggy you can only see a few inches in front of the car? Now THAT was fun! :D
