Jazz sans visor reminds me a tiny bit of Richard O'Brien. He looks okay, though.

Jazz looks awesome, maybe the best of all the bots especially with the Visor down and mask up. Looks very g1 esq.

Seriously, what the hell? Was there some meeting that decided to give all the Autobots a creepy mode. Jazz looks really good overall but that one picture of him with his battle mask off kind of weirds me out. Does the line running through the middle of his optics serve as a bifocal line?

Also does anyone know how the scale for Jazz will work. Technically shouldn't he be smaller than Bumblebee seeing as how the Camaro is a larger car?

He is smaller than Bumblebee. Jazz is the smallest Autobot, I believe.

I don't yet know how to put pics in my posts, but jeeze - I challenge anyone to look at Jazz's "battle mode" pics and not think space rabbit.

I'm pretty sure they got rid of Jazz's eyes, and I basically have the proof too (but not on this computer sadly, I'll have to wait until later to post it)

If you look at all the stock photos of Jazz without the visor, they've all have second versions of Jazz with the visor. My theory is that everytime we see a pic of Jazz without the visor, it's actually an older pic. His standard mode it's his regular head w./visor and his battle mode is the one seen in most of these pics (and on the mugshot on the toy packaging) with his ears folded back more and the more badass face.

Tis true.

They did a good job with Jazz although he still looks like a pile of junk wrapped in white armour. Very sleek looking. i think his visor could do with being tinted blue.

Finally something on Jazz besides that ancient concept art... and boy-o-boy am I pleased!

How did this end up in maxim first instead of here? Oh, well.

I (as in me) feel that this is a very G1 design and the art department should be given props from the fandom for this one.

they can call that piece of junk jazz all they want but it's never going to fit. that goes for all the other bayformers. the names just don't fit with the hideous walking junk piles.

Robot mode looks alright. At least its not a pile of scrap shaped into humanoid form.

The visor should be permanent, not some sort of lame "battle mode" gimmick. And loose the claws.

If you notice, most of the TF designs from the movie have those...I suspect they are there to protect their optics from debris. As a computer they wouldn't need to worry about it blocking their vision. Then again, the outline may move up during battle mode to provide additional HUD aiming capabilities. Just a theory...

Overall, I like him. He looks sleek...I guess he is supposed to be the hand to hand specialist of the group. As for why we haven't seen much of him and Ratchet, I'll wager it's because they are the MOST TRADITIONAL as far as TF designs. The others we've seen have been pretty radical departures; this gave the designers time to make some minor changes (i.e. Megatron's face) to those while they knew that Jazz and Ratchet would go over pretty well comparatively.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Jazz with visor looks awesome, perhaps the best design out of them all (sorry, i still can't agree with Optimus).

Jazz's face without visor scared half the crap out of me, especally with those metal thinghies pressed halfway across his eyeballs. He looks like one of those monster ghosts in those asian horror movies with blood coming out of the eyeballs and all... i think i'll be dreaming of Jazz hunting me down and floating bahind me all creepy making weird guttural sounds...

AAARRGH!! Oh... it was just the cat walking on my feet...
