Let's go with any quadrapedal alt; if it has 4 legs then it's a target. If it has more or less than 4 it can count as half a point, but it's all about the legs...

I have a question. Let's say that this

is the alt mode that I would like for one of my 'bots. (Because when I first started playing, unless I'm mistaken, that alt was a 'bot one, and I'm trying to recapture the original feel of my team.) And let's say that only two 'cons, Heatseeker and Falconwind, have that alt. And let's say that they are not very active players, particularly the latter.

Should I just be extremely patient and hope that I run into Heatseeker once every couple weeks, if I would like to collect his alt? Or is there some... alternative?

No worries, you're certainly not the first to encounter problems.
Lets expand it for you - find and kill me 20 mechanical aerial alts. No birds, dragons or insects, but planes, 'copters and spacecraft etc. are all legal.

If you are still searching in a weeks time, shout me and we'll see where we go from there.
