Congrats on the Topspin find Mr. Scotty. I hit up that same Walgreens yesterday after finding Perceptor down the road, but they only had Mindwipe and some of his wavemates. They must have put out the new stuff after I left.

Oh wow, yeah that Walgreens is right by my workplace (down in Regency Park area) and for months all they had was Mindwipe and Weirdwolf, then at some point a Hot Rod instead of the same Weirdwolf. After today it was just the Mindwipe still sitting there! First Transformer I've bought at that store ever aside from TR Brainstorm.

Bought a TR Broadside at the Target on 15-501 in Durham, only one they had. The TRU across the street had 4 Velocitron sets.

Bought a TR Perceptor at the Walgreens on the corner of Hwys 54 and 55 in Durham. Was the only wave 4 figure they had. Also saw a RB Brushfire.

Morrisville Target had 2 TR Broadsides, nothing else new TF-wise.

Yesterday was pretty uneventful, but the Apex Wal-Mart had a few things at lunchtime. At least one each left of everything from TLK Wave 1 Deluxes, Armor Up Turbo Changers, and RiD Wave 11 Warriors aside from Skywarp.

Went by Apex Target at lunchtime and no luck on Blitzwing/Octane still, just a couple of Broadsides, however they had the new one-step RiD Heatseeker and Strongarm figures. One of each left. Heatseeker's cool in the show and this is sadly the best toy of the character currently known so picked it up.

The same store also has one TLK Deluxe Bumblebee left, which I only bring up because it's the black roof version if you're looking for that variant.

Got a tip from a buddy that Garner White Oak Target had a Blitzwing left last night but I did not get up in time to grab it, no sign of any Voyagers there. They did have some of the Wave 2 TLK One-Steps so I grabbed a set, one Megatron still there. Activator Sideswipe and Great Byte also there if you need it. Been in stock on Amazon for a month but first I'd seen it out anywhere.

Went to ThinkGeek at Crabtree Mall right when they opened and scored a Trypticon. My buddy Tabtiurf got the last sealed box one. There is one left but it's the corporately mandated open box sample for their display case. They will sell it, but figured y'all might want to know that!

They also had a couple of the RC TLK Sqweeks, and a wave of Marvel Legends that I presume is new and desirable because a friendly ML collector was there at opening to get one each from that wave. Daredevil I think? I don't follow that series but that's what I recall.

Went back to ThinkGeek to pick up one of the RC Sqweeks, still one left after I got one. I would maybe wait or a sale or something, don't be impatient like me. Really nice looking and fun to mess with the dog, but $80 of fun? Maybe not.

That last Trypticon was long gone.

Forgot to mention, if anyone sees the "Planet Cybertron" Primus re-deco at Raleigh, Cary, or Durham TRUs please let me know. Have a 15% off coupon I'd love to use on it!

Raleigh TRU has one of the big One-Step Dragonstorms left. Nothing else really new, one Skyshadow and some TR Deluxe Kups and Topspins and TR Legends Roadburns/Brawns there if you need still need those. No sign of Trypticon, Wave 2 TLK, or TLK Leaders this morning. The Target across the parking lot was also uneventful.

Got the last MP-10 at Raleigh TRU today. There are some differences between it and the first Hasbro release! (photos in a while, tomorrow at latest)

They had a couple Cybertrons and the new RiD Menasor combiner sets but nothing much else that was super new. Oh, one Leader Sixshot still there too, haven't seen that in awhile.

Got the only MPM-4 Prime on the shelf at Triangle Town TRU. Had been stalking for that one so I could use a coupon on it. They still had two of the most recent MP-10 reissues left, but I was out for a bit and this was roughly three hours ago now.

Picked up a movie RtS OP at the Raleigh TRU today with a 15% off coupon I had that was expiring today.

15-501 Target in Durham had 2 each of Blitzwing and Octane, and 4 each of Seaspray and Cosmos as of around 4-5 pm today. 1 Blitzwing, Seaspray, and Cosmos went home with me, already found Octane back in May or June at the Knightdale Target. Be warned if you're a MIB collector, the boxes on the Blitzwing and one of the Octanes left behind are smashed to all HFIL.

I also checked the Southpoint, Triangle Town Center, and North Hills Targets. Same old piles of unwanted slag that's been there since the resets.

I've been out a little recently but the selection around here is trash lately. Then again, not much has come out since late July either.

I'm passively hunting for Scorn/Nitro, and still need a few Tiny Turbo Changers from wave 2. Only saw them once and got what I could! Also looking for the Ironhide and Megatron Kreo sets that have been seen at Dollar Generals. Checked the Western Blvd/Chatham St and Kildaire Farm locations last week and struck out.

Stopped by the Wake Forest Walmart tonight. Found TLK voyagers Scorn and Nitro. Scorn was out in the open, scorning the shelfwarming trio of Grimlocks. Nitro, on the other hand, was hidden behind a pile of toys next to it, almost missed it until I decided to do some digging around to check and see if someone had in fact hidden it. I also finally decided to pick up a Berserker, although I got that one at the TTC Walmart.

Also got TR Misfire, Windblade, and Twintwist yesterday at the toy show at the fairgrounds for $20 each, and a used TLK Barricade for $8.

Went to the Cary TRU this morning around 7am after work and snagged both POTP Voyagers and the Prime Masters trio. No more Voyagers, but three each of the Prime Masters left, along with two Jazz and two sets of legends.

Stopped by the Raleigh TRU around 10am. For POTP, one set of Voyagers, four sets of Prime Masters, two sets of deluxes, and two sets of legends. No sign of Leader class at either store.

After doing some calling around this morning, I finally snagged both POTP leaders at the North Hills Target. When I called them and had Target hold them for me at the Electronics counter, the guy on the phone even knew what I was looking for when I mentioned Transformers as he replied with "Power of the Primes" and "the $49 ones" (actually, they were $45 dollars pre-tax).

So now I'm done with POTP wave 1 just in time for the new year.

Finally picked up the PotP Leaders at Cary Crossroads Target today. I purchased the only set they had. I often have good luck with new stuff but these were cursed for some reason! Glad to have them now though and looking forward to cracking them open.

Left a pair of Voyagers on the shelf. Very little PotP there despite the reset.

picked up the last set of wave 2 legends (Battleslash, Roadtrap, and Tailgate) at the Morrisville Walmart Wednesday morning. After driving to some of the more distant Walmarts looking for wave 2 master, deluxe, and voyager toys, the only one I found with anything new besides Rodimus Unicronus was the Fuquay-Varina walmart which had multiple copies of the wave 2 legends.
