I was in Tiffin's store the other day looking at the empty pegs and spaces, and one of the toy department workers said that they had new stuff in the back that would be on the shelves on the 30th--she didn't know what specifically, though.
Also--has anyone seen a Marvel Universe Psylocke figure yet? I need her for my X-Force collection.
Doctor Reggae wrote:Stock! Haven't forgotten about RTS Perceptor--just haven't been able to find a time to swing down that way to get with ya.
About the only DOTM item that I'm looking for right now is HA Soundwave. Does anyone know if there are other HA figs planned for the line?

Does anyone's TRU have any green Devys? I wanted to pick one up, but they're all gone. So if anyone sees any, please hit me with a holler!
Stellerwolf wrote:Whats up guys, just a quick finding for you all, stoped by target in Niles just to see what they had, nothing on the pegs but for some DOTM bumblebee's and 1 of the TF Prime Cluffjumper, none First edition but still had to get, he's pretty cool so call/check around your Targets. Later all.

TRU on Colerain ave in Colerain township, and not certain about if their first edition or RID. Sorry man i didnt pay attention. They had plenty of BB's 1 of WJ, CJ and Voyager Prime and they was going fast! Also, I'm hearing the street for these are Feb 23rd for Targets and Walmarts and some of my friends have spoken to Target employees and they have them in the back, but cannot sell them until that date. So, if you can't find any, be patience until that date and you can have all you want.

I can confirm that that's incorrect. My girlfriend works for Target. They're in the back, they're not street dated. They're meant for the next planogram, which is the week of the 26th, but they ARE available for sale. Find someone who will help you, such as electronics.
You are allowed to buy them. If this store, for some stupid reason, refuses you a sale, go to another. One of them will help you.

I really don't appreciate you stepping in and slapping me in my face about this information, Not sure if your located in Ohio or not, but every place and stores are different, same with different rules and regulations. I can confirm that two local Target stores that within a 15mins drive of where i live will not sell them until that street date. So next time, be more considerate towards others.

...excuse me?!
1.) No one "no one stepped in and slapped" anyone. If you see it as such, then that's a problem on your end, not mine.
2.) I live in PA, but near the border, so I do a lot of shopping in Youngstown/Warren, Ashtabula and Mayfield Height . The store policies are the same, nationwide. Does not matter what state you're in. (My girlfriend, who is an employee, confirms this.)
3.) Not once did I imply or label you a liar. I believe you were turned down, I also know that they flat out lied to you (happens more often than not).
4.) My girlfriend works for Target as a GSA (Guest Service Associate), so she knows their policies inside and out. She checked them for me several times and confirmed that these are NOT street dated. They are planogram dated, for the week of the 26th, but that does not prevent their sale. It. Does. Not. The only time a planogram date prevents a sale is when the new assortment of toys is set on one or two pallets and they've been plastic wrapped. In those cases? Yeah, it's true, they can't get them for you. They would have to tear the entire pallet down to find these two boxes. No one's willing to do that. That may be what happened in your travels, but most stores have these cases resting on a shelf, not wrapped up in a pallet.
5.) Another piece of proof that they're not street dated: Everyone and their brother seems to be able to get them, now. Look at sightings on all the boards, across the country. You'll notice a lot of people say "The DPCIs worked for me." Only in a few odd occasions do you see that people were turned down, such as yourself.
6.) Be more considerate of others? I WAS BEING CONSIDERATE! I told people to find someone in the store and give them the DPCI and that they'd most likely pull them from the back for you. If they're not on the pallet and they have access to the case? YES, they MUST sell them to you. It's company policy. If one store won't do it, another will. If that store won't do it, then another will. You might have to drive a bit, but sooner or later you will find a store that will accommodate you.
I'm truly offended here. I tried to help people, all I get is a slap in the face. What it really is is that your ass is chapped because it didn't work for you and you're mad that it has for everyone else. I understand that, I get that, I've been there more times than I can count and it SUCKS. I wasn't making light of your situation, I wasn't slapping you in the face, I was trying to be helpful and all I get out of you is a nasty, NASTY reply.
You owe me an apology. Not the other way around. I hope you're a big enough man to show me that courtesy.

amjskateshop wrote:They have a plan-o-gram date and here lies the problem with us getting transformers and retail mindsets in general, and basically illogic logic.
amjskateshop wrote:That's the reason some of the associates and management won't do this, it depends on the management structure.
amjskateshop wrote:To me this is crazy and Hasbro and Target should both hear about this. There is a huge following of Transformer collectors and this not the way we should be treated.
amjskateshop wrote:If these toys are in fact "street dated" to Target, why was I able to walk into my local toys r us last friday and find every single now TF Prime toy in stock, which I bought. If they were street dated it would be a nation wide policy regardless of retailer.
amjskateshop wrote:If you were not sold to, I would ask for a manager to show you the street date on the box. If there is none, or if there is a plan-o-gram date on the box, and they still won't sell, ask for the district managers name and number. They will cave, they have too. District managers hate nothing more then having to deal with customer complaints from and unhadled store manager.
Call targets customer support line. Talk to them direct. I bet you get results in a hurry.
