There's a big difference between renegging on something and changing your mind on something because you've been given more information on it.

The problem is that a lot of people are getting used to the designs just because they've been around for a while now. They're warming up to them just because they're becoming more and more familiar. That doesn't mean the designs aren't still way off target. In the case of Megatron, I still think they did a poor job, but what do I know? I'm just a Transformers fan who likes giant, blocky robots.

Oh that explains it, I guess my posts just went ninja on me and just vanished in thin air.
No really, next time you mods delete posts (and yes, couple of mine were deleted as well, really no use denying it since part of em are still in quotes) I would say that in the very least a pm would be in order.

Since all of the crap continues, the next step will be to split all posts (except Ryans first one) lock them and move them to a more secure location so the thread would basically "start anew"..
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
No, I am not friendly online or in real life.
I look forward to attending a Botcon only to settle matters with idiots in person.

Agreed, I just spend a good hour going over the last nine pages just to see what started the flaming. Seems like it starts off as a harmless question from someone then a few people respond to that question and it grows from there.

I realized I never posted anything about the review. I thought it was a very well written article. Glad you got to see it with your own eyes Boss as for me I'm still looking forward to this movie. So far I have to go see it with five differnt groups of people because they all want to go see it with me. It's nice to be wanted. :P

I've always been on the positive side ever since there was only a rumor after a new TF movie. That's not to say I like everything about the movie but no one will ever make any movie (not just TF) that will please everyone with everything. But till now, I'm still positive about the movie.

I was a teenager when G1 came out and have seen numerous transforming/giant robots anime before that. I'm a big G1 fan but do I want this movie to be G1...NO! I love the homages and certain things like if OP was not a semi that would be hell. But I'm happy about OP; I'll just ignore the flames.

I can think of a simple reason why BB is mute. If he can talk, he would have told Sam everything. He probably have a vocalizer malfunction and can easily talk at the end of the movie (which I doubt) or with the next movie. This is probably why he also does not transform until late in the movie.

I enjoyed reading this new review but I skipped over the scenes. Has the review changed my mind either way. No. They could have previewed the best 25 minutes of the movie and everything else could be bad. A lot of movies are like that. So I take the review for what it is: a good reading. I never read the script and have only watch the trailer (many times). I want to experience the movie and hopefully have a good time. And I know I will see this movie at least twice: once with family and once with friends.

As a final note...I am planning to buy a 1080p HDTV, HD DVD player (already have surround sound) just so I can watch this movie in HD at home when it comes out on DVD...because GDI, it's a TRANSFORMERS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you all in the theatres on 7.4.7!
Till all are one.

Well put, I'm feeling the same way about the movie. It's kinda like getting a hard shell taco from Taco Bell when you really wanted a soft shell taco. The taste and the ingredients are the same, but just not quite what you wanted. Never the less you leave feeling satisfied and gasy.

I didn't know they used your dog in the Transformer movie.

Yeah, I was totally psyched when Bay called. I wasn't crazy about him giving the dog 4 eyes, but I got over it.

OMGZ!!!! That is really cool. You should have called me so I could come over, then we could scream, hug, and jump up and down together over it.

Well I try.

Preview sounds as good as I'd hoped it would be. I'm just looking forward to seeing the movie so we can have a real discussion based on some real facts.

I know... tell me about it. I've had it up he the eyeballs with all the (and not to quote Fred Durst or anything he touches but) "He said, she said Bull****" I'm still pretty pumped about the movie. A lot of friends and family are still asking me to go and see it with them when it comes out becuase they think it looks "neat" Even my old man wants to go see it with me and I havne't been to the movies with him since I was like 6. He's so straight edge he won't watch anything other then golf, hockey or more golf. :-(

I think the best part about it will be when my dad asks me "whos that" about 50 times in the theater. He still knows who Prime Megatron and for some reason Rodimus Prime are so he may still have hope. I use to call him Optimus when I was a child because I thought that's what you called leaders :P

I know my old man will. He tapped me on the shoulder, and said, "is this a Transformers movie?!" during the trailer when he saw Prime transform. Which was great - because I didn't tell him what the trailer was for, and he hasn't seen a Transfomer since 1986.

Well, I appreciate the warning. I have never enjoyed that kind of movie, and it's exactly what I was afraid this movie was going to be. No memorable characters, no memorable moments, all action and no story. For me all of that translates to no entertainment value.

In other words, it's what I expected from the time I learned who the director was.
