I think we all assumed that anyway.

Talk is that they're officially in, but nobody knows when exactly, idea being not this season at all.

Honestly, I do hope he survives. I like Bulk; it's his "partner" Miko I can't really stand. Though I do hope, if he has survived, they don't do as you describe; that's he's back on his feet by the first minute, or even by the end of the episode. I think there should be two or three episodes where he's recovering before he's back on the frontlines.
Live or die, though, it's the wait that's killing me. Oh well, I guess Rescue Bots will have to do.

I saw that too. While I doubt it's a ruse, it was their main Facebook page, I didn't quite know what to make of it. Not sure about the other but I was waiting for Saberblade to weigh in.

BREAKING TRANSFORMERS PRIME NEWS : We've all waited for this moment......... the Dinobots are now OFFICIALLY part of Transformers Prime Universe !! "LIKE" If you're excited !!
While it is confirmed the Dinobots will enter the Transformers Prime Universe, it unfortunately is unclear when they will exactly join the TELEVISION series.

It said that they're part of the "Prime Universe", in reference to the "Rage of he Dinobots" comic. While this comic is set post-FOC and leads up into season 3 of the cartoon, this is still not a confirmation of their being in the show.
Another post goes on to say the following:While it is confirmed the Dinobots will enter the Transformers Prime Universe, it unfortunately is unclear when they will exactly join the TELEVISION series.
So, yeah, they're in the show's continuity, but not yet confirmed for the show itself. Though, the comic also ties in with the games and the novels too.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
But Sentinel refutes their associating him with the Autobots, saying that he isn't one. They just call him one since they see him as their enemy.Dead Metal wrote:Sentinel Prime and Omega Supreme both pre-date the Autobots and Decepticons, with both coming into play way after the war had started but Sentinel Prime is then constantly referred to as an Autobot by the Cons, while Omega Supreme is referred to as an Autobot by the book itself and well, himself too.
Now that is an error, yes. Speaking of a battle he fought in before speaking about his creation was a poor oversight by the editor.Dead Metal wrote:Bruticus is first mentioned being destroyed, and is then lifted from a vault that keep him for millions of years two pages after being destroyed in battle, in a section that told the events "in chronological order just as they happen".
Devastator's based off of ROTF Devastator, as in, if there are enough Constructicons present, they could form more than one of him.Dead Metal wrote:Both Defensor and Devastator are introduced as being unique, and then later mentioned in plural form.
Another editor's mistake.Dead Metal wrote:Constructicons are sometimes used as a synonym for combiners, and are also used to refer to the Combaticons a few times, Combaticons are also used to refer to the Devastator components once.
It's always a small object that could be held in one's hand. It's a handheld chamber.Dead Metal wrote:The Plasma energy chamber, just like Omega Supreme, can magically change size going from giant chamber thingy to something Megatron can hold in his hand.
I find this amusing as I just recent finished reading the old Dreamwave G1-based Keepers Trilogy for the first time.Dead Metal wrote:Oh and it's the last TF novel I'll be buying or reading, waist of money and time.

As for Omega, who says he couldn't have taken a side when the factions sprung up?

To the Cons, anyone who isn't a Con is an Autobot.Dead Metal wrote:Yea I know he refuses it, but he's consistently referred as such by the Cons even after his death "You Autobots should learn that when you hide things in your body bad things happen."
Or, he simply chose his side right then and there during that fight, without saying so.Dead Metal wrote:Omega had no time to choose a side, he awakens (the books tells us that he's been sleeping since the Primes left Cybertron after their war) and immediately tells the Autobots "You Autobots should have called me earlier".
Then the book says "The great guardian joins his fellow Autobots in the fight". Making it sound like he's always been an Autobot.
The editor still should have caught that.Dead Metal wrote:Not just editor, but author in the first place.
At first, they're talking about one Devastator. Then they (sluggishly, I'll admit) expound on there being more than one.Dead Metal wrote:That's not the way he's introduced, he's introduced as an individual being created by a specific bunch.
I think I remember something like that, but I think I recall taking that as a figurative meaning rather than a literal one.Dead Metal wrote:When Dark Energon comes into play and the Autobots thinking of what to do next, it's compared to arguing about how many Minicons can dance the head of a Devensor.
Well, like the Forge of Solus Prime, I get the feeling Irvine didn't know the meanings of certain terms and assumed the chamber was an object instead of a room, as the book consistently treats it like a handheld power generator of sorts.Dead Metal wrote:Sorry, but chamber implies something large, as in something you can enter.

Don't forget that the Cons do indeed view the Autobots as being evil, as Megatron still regards Optimus as having betrayed him way back when they stood before the High Council and Optimus's words instead of Megatron's gained the Council's favor. Megatron saw this as an act of treachery by Orion, as though he had used Megatron to gain the power and title of "Prime", instead of being in support of Megatron like he believed Orion to be. Megatron declared war because he felt double-crossed by his good friend, whom he now viewed as a wicked, manipulative snake.YRQRM0 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Unless it gets explained, it's still meant to be Optimus.
It's supposed to be Optimus, the leader of the evil Autobots, as described by Megatron to Orion. Therefore, it's not supposed to look like the real Optimus at all. So really, it could be anything from a picture of Magnus that Soundwave threw in, just so there's a picture, or something he just drew in his spare time lol.
