Beast Modes = Liquid Metal Skin? [I'm guessing this because the bot face looks G1/TFA, not pieces like in TFM07.]

Maybe, those eyes on the toy box are Grimlock's? The Dinobots arrived on Earth as the scouts that sent back the clues to Cybertron on the Allspark's location. They 'fell' at the hands of the Decepticon envoy, a big hulking thing called a Gestalt... I mean Combiner. Then Megatron got there, etc, etc...
