Thanks to the TFND Facebook page, we have a full color, unobscured look at Missing Link Arcee! As can be seen below, she's going to be coming in her G1 toy prototype colors, as well as anime colors. For those who may not understand the orange and pink deco, Arcee never actually got a toy in the G1 toyline, despite being a prominent character in the animated movie in 1986, and also the following seasons of the G1 cartoon. She did, however, have a prototype toy which was - Read More

A ton of in-hand images are in for SS AOE Prime! Here’s some of the highlights: - He’s scaled to SS AOE Galvatron, so a little shorter than him and just barely taller than SS-32/44 Optimus - The truck bed actually looks really good! Probably the best truck bed for a Studio Series truck mode, , (though that’s not exactly a high bar to clear) - the back kibble is removable! Honestly I don’t think I’ll display him like that since I think they handled the kibble really well, but - Read More

We have an in-hand pic of Transformers SS AOE Prime! This give us an idea of the unpainted plastic in more natural light. Also, you'll notice that his silhouette is not encumbered by kibble in his back. That's because the truck cab kibble has the possibility of folding back even further, as you can see in the images below. While it looks bad from the sides, it makes it look much cleaner in the front, which is something none of the previous renditions of this character could accomplish. The - Read More

Hasbro is going through massive changes. Brian Goldner’s vision was of Hasbro becoming a multimedia company, big on brand content, like Disney. However, the corporate vision has changed since Chris Cocks became the CEO. The past week-end was disappointing for Transformers One at the box office. As many Hollywood pundits have said, it's unfortunate that a film that had such a great reception did so poorly. Especially when this is in the same brand where films that were panned by critics and fans made over a billion dollars. All this just goes for domestic numbers because the film has yet to open on major markets internationally (like China and the UK). Now that the week-end is done, we know that the - Read More

There are two ways to measure a film's success these days. We have how much it made, which directly correlated to the public's interest in a film. Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 made A LOT more money than the Bumblebee movie (100 Million more) BUT it also cost a lot more.
