well since it would be pretty ridiculous to have robots turn into cassettes in this day and age, maybe Pretenders are the new alt mode for Soundwave's minions.

THAT would be an interesting way to bring the Pretenders thing into the movie. Though I still don't like the whole Pretenders thing at all [movie or toon], that's the most interesting/intriguing way that I've heard for implementing anything from the Pretenders idea.

Anybody remember those pictures of what was supposedly the Fallen in some ancient chamber? This courtyard seems to match that architecture. My guess is the Fallen or whatever that thing is, has awakened and is the one frightening the crowd. Isabel is obviously on his side, but the crowd is too scared of the Fallen to notice her calm pace.
