You know what drives me nuts? Supposed Dreamworks, ILM, or other movie industry people who can't write a coherent post to save their lives. It's called grammar, people, and it has rules. I'm not saying I expect perfection, but none of these supposed movie industry employees exhibited anything close to the communication skills one would expect of a professional. Maybe they're fans who got an inside scoop and figured more people would believe them if they pretended to work in the industry. I'm not saying these rumors are false, but if they're true, I just lost even more respect for Hollywood.

I'm totally bummed out because this alludes to something that if you watch the trailer, might actually be true. And if it is, I'm going to be upset. If soundwave is indeed the fourth transformer that goes to resurrect megatron, he must be the one who gives up his spark to revive him. The three constructicons are clearly standing over megatron as you see his spark "reviving" in the trailer. The fourth transformer, whoever he is, is no longer standing there. Therefore he must sacrifice himself for megatron. Soundwave would do that considering his loyalty to megatron. Which would explain why we've yet to see him in the trailers at all: because he's barely in the movie. Enter me being totally upset because I was looking forward to soundwave being a total badass.

Considering Soundwave is extremely popular with fans, I don't see how the writers would bring him in for 10min of film, then kill him off, expecially since the other Decepticons would see him as strategically valuable beyond the role stated in the post. Then again, sillier things have happened.

Do we know for sure that there is a pretender in the movie? Like someone else said before, it was a bad idea in the 80's and it's a worse idea now.

I wanted to read about Ravage. The WHOLE article was a spoiler so I stopped reading.

Didn't even bother trying. Just scrolled through to see some of the graphics. Based on that concept of Soundwave and Ravage, I kind of wonder of Ravage becomes what amounts Soundwave's engine for that version of the toy, the way I feel Frenzy did for Barricade.

The Barricade being back thing better be true. He was one of the only decent bots from the first movie.

I would like to see Barricade back too. There's room for it I think; he'd disappeared by the time the final battle began, the way I remember it.

even the two names make a half assed acronym for it

big news for me is soundwave doing a teletran one. its brilliant ! and a nice nod to the comics/cartoon.

i cant wait to see this now as while the first one was fun it made no sense. this one actually looks to have a decent story to it and has some lovely references to the gimmicks like pretenders.

one of the things i liked about TF was the arms race aspect to it so its fun to see it here with the combiners.

oh and seeing as there was a reference to a seventh constucticon that we havent seen doesnt it make sense that he's the one to pony up the spark for megatron?

I also like the idea that Alice is Laserbeak. I think her inner con is one in the same with the puppet seen on the hood of the silver Saturn. That puppet was very bird like. Nice call.

Actually, that does look more like the "Entry Modes" the Protoform toys from the first film had.

I am sticking to my guns here. I have thought Ravage is Megatron's arm cannon ever since the second image was "leaked." Now that the toy is shown, in what could be Megatron's cannon I am even more convinced. Just my thoughts, though.
