Recently we reported a rumor <a href="/news/view.php?id=9359">here</a> about an image that could possibly have been an early concept for Ratchet in the upcoming <a href="http://webmaster.transformersmovie.com/click.html?c=FLINCG" target="_blank">Transformers Movie</a>. Well now another possible orginal design images has surfaced. <a href="http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=121902" target="_blank">TFW2005</a> has posted an image that could be the original movie concept for Optimus Prime. That image makes me want to stab my eyes out.

The chest and feet are pretty much the same. The stupid flames are still there... makes me wonder for how long the powers-that-be had their collective hearts set on making the "Shakespearian" Prime, as he was referred to by the writers, all decked-out in rice-boy flame decals.

well, I feel like now the design they chouse was the better of the 2, sure, everything else is the same exept the head, but the head was iconic really, and they chouse something more iconic to represent Prime. With that head, he seems more Gundam then Transformer reall, at least with the current head, it has the traditonal Prime-isms that make it stick out and such.
