The Oscar Nominations page was posted today and Revenge of the Fallen can be found among the many top-notch films fighting for a prestigious award. Which award is it going for? It's looking to take the best in the Sound Mixing category where it's fighting against other top contenders such as Star Trek and Avatar.

Last time they lost to a talking Polar Bear, and as I predicted, this time they weren't even nominated for special effects. This just shows that cool explosions don't make something praiseworthy- they just attract dollars.
I'm not angry... I just hate most things.

See? All of us who didn't love this movie unconditionally just got what we deserved: here is a clear display of the greatness of ROTF that we all overlooked because it wasn't G1 enough for us. Man, were we ever wrong.
