Picked up Premium Megs today at Toys R Us in Puyallup. Not sending out any PMs since I am about the only one this far south, and they only had one Megs and one Prime when I was there, and some kid was getting the Prime (while whining to his parents that he would much rather have the Megs that I snagged right before he could get his paws on it). So, they are starting to show up.

How good is the metallic paint on the Megs? Does it alot like the original or is it better?

Anyone still in the market for Wal-Mart Exclusive figures Jolt and Divebomb or the RH 5-pack, or a variety of Voyager class figures, there are still plenty of them up north. I won't be going that way again til sunday but I doubt they are going to disappear before then.
Unfortunately, I was unable to get to Woodinville to reduce the scalper population, er, I mean check out FS Prime. My fall yesterday limited me to about 30 minutes of absolutely necessary work today with the rest to be finished sunday. (It sucks that I don't bounce like I did when I was in my 20's.) Consequently, my ability to wield a sword, oops, er ahh... a cup-gun, was greatly hindered. So, Cyberjet, let's set up another "Sighting" and I'll try for some more points on Monday :P

T. B-)

P.S. Probably won't post or be on for a day or two. Even Typing hurts and sitting in one spot for awhile gives me enough time to feel all the stiff and sore spots in my legs so I have been trying to shuffle around a bit more often. I may need to resort to range weapons to deal with the scalper issue. I wonder if I can use my throwing knives left handed? :-?

As far as the Megs, it is a lot better than the original, but it is more of a dark grey as opposed to the Metallic Best Buy Voyager one. I wish they had made it chrome like the BBY Exclusive. It is nice, and completes the collection, but I am not overly excited. Not sure if it is much different than the original (it has been a long time since I have seen him), but the head looks a little thinned down/lengthened, and when looking at the Seibertron gallery of the original, this new paint job makes a world of difference.

I didn't take a good look at the Prime cause that kid had him in his hand and I headed out as soon as I heard his parents say "ask that guy if you can have Megatron", so I am not sure how good Prime is.

^ugly as they are, those bastards are gonna be gone on the first day. I just hope I get lucky with those and one of the TRU exclusives. I have done pretty well up to this point (on both Joes and Transformers). If I find the Target ones, I am snatching about 4 of the bumblebees in case someone misses out on it. I am now kicking myself that I didn't pick up Evolution of a Hero.

Hunt today:

Lynnwood Walmart: nothing
Everett Walmart: nothing
Marysville Walmart: nothing

Totem Lake Fred Meyers: lots of wave 2 Allspark deluxes

Woodinville Target: nothing. And T-Mack, today the 2 FS primes got snagged by a scalper. I talked to him alittle bit and he kept trying to get me to tell him what figures were "hot" for TF and SW.

Alderwood TRU: nothing, still no Halo 3

***Lynnwood Target: using the DCPI trick, I got a partial set of the exclusives yesterday and finished the set with another attempt today. When I left the stock person did put out 2 of the Jazz figure (although) one was damaged. I have one whole set, plus an extra BB (for possibly opening)

All spark power deluxes should be at Targets. They're most likely in the back.

Premium leaders have been sighted. One of each. I was tempted to pick up prime...but passed. Megatron looks a lot better compared to the first release, but not good enough to pick up another.

PMs have been sent.

Seriously, if there is a Gamestop exclusive item your after, Mt Vernon and Burlington have Gamestops in an equal ratio to Starbucks stores. I kid you not, I can stand at the front door of one and (if I were so inclined) throw a rock through the front of the next closest Gamestop. I can tell you how to get to 4 of the gamestops up there and I can only tell you of 3 Starbucks that I know off the top of my head, so if you want something from one, name it and I'll be all over it. There are about 9-10 in the area that I frequent trying to find stuff for my kids and I. There are only 2 Starbucks that I hit on a semi-regular basis but that just reminded me that there is another Gamestop open (close to a Starbucks) that I haven't hit yet.

As for the Premium figures...
Did I mention that I got a new pair of swords recently? :P

T. B-)

I love swords, i have quite the collection of those so maybe I will help you on the hunt!

The gamestop exclusive figure that I am looking for is the Halo 3 Gamestop Steel CQB armored Spartan.

Hey Tony! Hit me up with a PM on the location of the Premium leaders. I just got back from 4 different Targets. I managed to get 3 of the 4 deluxe figs. Looks like Barricade is the harder one to find. By the way, don't bother going to the Northgate Target, the will NOT bring them out from the back. The release date for the Target deluxe figs is supposed to be on the 13th so I'm sure we'll see them in abundance in the next week or so.

Forget what I said about Barricade being the harder to find... I found him at the SC Target. They "said" they didn't have any when I went this morning... I called later in the afternoon using the DCPI and specifically asking for Barricade. The person on the other end confirmed they had him and held for me at the front. im happy now :-P

Hey Cyberjet, start misdirecting the scalpers way north and tell them the Premiums hit there first of the Exclusives are more plentiful up there. I'm going to need some entertainment the first part of the week up at the shop and my gas budget is low. (I usually wander into town while I'm waiting for parts to dry and be able to proceed to the next stage. It's a 35 mile trip just to get up to the shop so I usually stay up there and get as much done as I can in a given day but I have time to kill in-between coats)

My older brother and I are headed up there to do some work today so I will see if anything of interest has shown up since friday (at both Wal-Mart and Target)

Hunt today:

Issaquah Target: nothing
Factoria Target: lots of older scout class
Renton Target: nothing, lots of T-crack and older scout class figures
Boeing area Target: nothing
Renton Walmart: LOTS of wave 2 Allspark voyagers
Renton TRU: nothing for TF. Gentle Giant X-Wing Luke statue on clearance for $27.48. I bought 2 and it came $61 even.
Woodinville Target: one FS Prime

An awesome use of gasoline today. At least the premiums are starting to show up and I know the Leader class figures will be the easiest to get. Not alot of people are willing to pay another $40 for the same toy...

Well, I got my Target Bumblebee today (actually picked up 2 of them for now), and the display also had The GI Joe Target Exclusive Vehicles (Night Specter, Cobra HISS Tank, and AWE Striker) that I picked up for my cousin. At $10, they seem like a pretty damn good price. They also had some Starwars Exclusives that had the same type tube packaging as the Transformers, but I am not that big of a nerd so I don't know what the hell they were  Happy hunting.

Supposedly we should be looking at a "Hasbro endcap" this Sunday, the 13th. It would include the Joe's items, Star Wars Order 66, and TF Allspark.

I know some of us (myself included) have been able to catch-up on these using DCPI #'s, but if anyone needs help getting them - shout it out. I know I'll be out again this weekend for the endcap.

I would suggest checking the Target's on Saturday and Sunday, as some will probably set their endcaps up sooner.

^Make sure to check the endcaps near the cash registers. That is where they were at down here, and I hear where they are at in a lot of Targets. I didn't take a good look, are any of the exclusive Target Transformers tubes worth having, I am thinking of taking back my second Bumblebee.

Edit:
Went back and picked up Barricade. Figured what the hell. They sure are moving off the shelves, only Brawl and Jazz left here, and hardly any of the Joe vehicles. So if you get a chance, pick up the Joes, you will not regret it.

The tubes are great for storage of the figures, reasonably sturdy.

The bios on the back are nothing special - most are just a sentence or two about how cool the character is now that he has "Allspark Power".

It's nice to see them posed in their robot modes - granted we already have the FB Jazz in robot mode and BB and Baricade appear in the movie packs in robot mode; but not Brawl yet.

Totem Lake Fred Meyers had lots of Wave 2 -
Deluxe: Jungle Crusher x2, Landmine x2, Movie Jazz x3
Voyagers: OR Ironhide x3, Evac x3, FS Prime x1, Incinerator x1

Air Com SS - there were a couple Halo 3 Mas. Chiefs there but nothing else. And lots of the small vehicles.

According to other sources, the Lynnwood and Everett Targets have their Hasbro endcaps set up. I have not seen them myself, so I cannot verify it nor state which figures were still available.

Any Premium sightings?

TRU had the Blackout/Scorp 2-pack again here.

Saw the Red Halo fig, the Master Chief, a couple of the monsters, and the Halo vehicles at a couple local Fred Meyers. No premiums as of late, I have a feeling with the high stock levels of old stuff(alteast here) the Deluxe Premiums may be a bitch to find.

You're right, unfortunately by the time the deluxe Premiums hit in good quantities, they'll be old news. But from what I've heard they will hit in heavier numbers, they won't be hard to find, like say, the SW Galactic Hunt figures.
