Different case as Optimus Primal =/= Optimus Prime. When I said every "Optimus" was perfect, I was intentionality referring to every "Optimus Prime". Fixed it now.Fortress Rodimus wrote:Not true Primal although the leader of the ship was not the Prime like all the others. But we saw him grow into a true Prime. And I grew up on G1 still love it and i love wheeljack but heck i like the Prime Wheeljack looks cool and kicked butt.

*sigh* Apparently, Masterforce is still as obscure a series as it was twenty years ago, it seems.Doubledealer25 wrote:any human in a series(kicker is an acceptation cus he actually fought.)

Hence the words Almost. Then again I still read the comics between 96-2006, so my despise is still there, but I guess I should have kept it to just the cartoons. Sorry... still you can not help but to despise him.

You got:
- The typical bland young guy from G1.
- The mute, irritating dude from the Movies
- The cold-hearted drifter/Seeker Commander from Shattered Glass
- The young, lively, energetic, full-of-life, ball of energy from Animated
- And the "Johnny Young Bosch"-turned-"silent killer" from WFC/Exodus/Prime.
And my Masterforce argument still holds up since every human in that series was epic. Almost god-like in power, even._Anshin_ wrote:Every human is different (Spike is not the same as Sam who is not the same as Carlos). Yet they are all equally annoying and droll as a character.

Unless you've actually seen Masterforce, you can't comment without having experienced it._Anshin_ wrote:Sabrblade wrote:And my Masterforce argument still holds up since every human in that series was epic. I guess it still holds up similar to the way an vertical ejection seat works on a helicopter. Sure your out, but are you in any better shape?![]()
All joking aside, this is just my opinion versus yours. I respect it and can see why you would like some of the characters I despise.

The humans were the Autobots and Deceptcions of that series (that's right, Decepticon humans!), and each one of them was made a better character than the entire G1 cartoon cast combined.
Why, that whole series was so good that I rank it almost as high as Beast Wars, Animated, and Beast Machines (higher than BM, actually) in terms of quality, effort, and sheer competence.
Awful English dub or superior Japanese sub?_Anshin_ wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Unless you've actually seen Masterforce, you can't comment without having experienced it._Anshin_ wrote:Sabrblade wrote:And my Masterforce argument still holds up since every human in that series was epic. Then I am safe to comment as I still have them recorded on VHS straight from the Japanese Airways

The English dub of Masterforce =_Anshin_ wrote:To be brutally honest I had to get the dubbed version because I don't understand the Japanese versions (Never learned Japanese).
All the episodes in Japanese w/ English subtitles can be downloaded easily from TV-Nihon. They subtitled every episode and in about as good as (or better than) the quality of the official DVD subs. They also subbed The Headmasters, Victory, RobotMasters, Super Link, Galaxy Force, and the first few episodes of Car Robots. And the Japanese openings/endings/promos of Animated. They are the fansub group to go to when it comes to the Transformers anime. All you have to do is ask where to find them._Anshin_ wrote:A close friend of mine was deployed out there and picked up both sets for me. I can understand some of it, but a majority of it I couldn't understand. There were no subtitles on the VHS and I have yet to find the Japanese versions on dvd/blu-ray that have subtitles or fan sub sites.

Also, aside from the Bay movies, Blu-Ray = nonexistent for any TF series.
