Aligned Universe Sideswipe Concept Art

A pretty cool mix of RotF robot mode and G1 colours and alt mode. Since he didn't look like this in WFC/FoC, can we expect this to show up in Prime, or its toyline or maybe that MMO game?

It's like the Prime Ironhide concept art. He doesn't looked like that in the games, but all he got was a couple of toys.

Agreed! I always thought it was a shame Movie Sideswipe was silver instead of red! This looks great, toy please Hasbro? Even if its just a Legion class I'd be happy, the design is great. Oh, and he's a Gallardo, sweet~

Now thats what sideswipe should've looked like in the movies, still not a fan of the movie/tfp designs but this is acceptable as sideswipe. I still say TFP is linked somehow to the movies and has nothing to do with the cybertron games, sideswipe & ironhide are proof enough but then throw in stupid bumblebee and its even more clear.

From the neck down, he's all kinds of awesome, but I'd prefer a more G1-esque or at least TF Prime-esque head sculpt.

That may be your personal preference, but it's not correct. Movie homages don't make it part of the movie franchise.

This guy is awesome!! Love the blend of style, movie inspired blades & head, G1 insprired chest ... Just pure win! I'd love for a figure of this!

Give movie swipe a g1 paint job and set it on fire because no. Just no.

With a bit of tweaking to look more real, Sideswipe and Ironhide would totally have worked like that for live action movies. I would have accepted them over what we got.

It's cool. But for Sideswipe? I don't like it.

It's mostly Movie Sideswipe recolored like his G1 counterpart, but I quite like it.

Absolutely beautiful!! With the cool designs that both Sideswipe and Ironhide have gotten, it would be a shame if neither of them appeared in Prime, the Jagex game, or any future form of media in the aligned continuity. (I want a deluxe figure of that Sideswipe RIGHT NOW )

Well, he has appeared in both WFC and FOC, and is getting a Generations figure. But, I get what you're saying. You want his Earth-style body.

We did get that hint that Jazz & Perceptor would be in season three. Just give us some concept art for Perceptor, Mr. Santalucia.

I am loving the Return of the Shoulder mounted cannon, One of the best G1 Design aspect ever. Love the G1 look.

Good Point. I think the difference is, the old school Rockets were extremely noticable, Breakdown's barely is.

It is unfortunate for me that this makes me think of a TFP Bumblebee repaint.
Not sure I could ever enjoy this now.

Whoa! Jazz is looking pretty sweet! Kinda wish he was more stretched out like his FoC in game rendering or the RTS figure is, but I can't complain to much. I mean he's got his g1 shoulder cannon!

Just took a look at Sideswipe and my god! Just like aligned Ironhide, it's as if Bayformers and G1 got together and made this handsome piece of artwork!

Man I love this design! He is quite sharp looking!

And maybe Bumblebee is that was his Binder design we saw on the pop-up book cover.

Yet, this Jazz seems to have a mix of his FoC counterpart's transformation scheme (rightfully so) as well as his Movie transformation with a G1 back-kibble transformation.

Indicators:

*Rear lights (and then some) on his forearms (FoC)
*The front of the car makes up the entire chest without splitting panels (FoC, G1)
*Side of car detailing for shoulder-pads. (Movie)
*Wheels in between the shoulders. (Movie)
*Door Wings (G1)

So his transformation should be different from Bumblebee's.

Well he looks better than Sideswipe, but that's not saying much. Gayverse Bayverse Jazz was less of a major divergence from his previous forms, so mixing the styles up here doesn't look as bad, but the fact is it's still there, so...

Something inside of me wonders why they're releasing all of this Earth-based 'bot concept art and hopes that Sideswipe, Jazz, and Perceptor will come to Prime. That may be wishful thinking...

...but how cool would it be to have a second team of Autobots on Earth with Team Prime?

Well, my guess as to why we're getting this art revealed is because, since Santalucia made them, he wants to show his art to people so they can look at it and give their thoughts on it, and Hasbro's finally letting him show it.

As for why now they're letting him, the upcoming pop up book will have even more of this art, so maybe they're letting him reveal this stuff as a sort of prelude to it.

His question came out of the blue and seemed to only ask if some Average Joe's favorite characters will be in the show or not. Since the Hasbro guys couldn't say much about who is or who isn't gonna be in season 3, they gave the same ambiguous "Stay tuned" answer that they gave to more than half of the questions asked at that panel.

Beautiful! Just beautiful. I want to see Jazz in TFP even more now.

I like the car mode, the bot mode, not so much. I do think it looks ok if they ever made a movie-verse animated series though.
