Ok, Can someone now tell me why we got this Prime in A Voyager Toy with Freaking Green Sword and Windshield and the Stupid Chest Spikes?

Because spike truck! Don't care if it's not 100% how he looks in-show. I feel they've made a good toy.

I have to admit i just started watching the show in this part of the story. I was put off by the character designs. But hey you shouldn't judge a book by its cover because i think this show is just great after watching it... If i was a kid seeing this id be bugging out more then i am now with all the stuff that's going on this season.

I think this series is going to end very well.. that promo got me excited. and optimus' new design is awesome. He looks more of a prime now imo & now he's going to be a bad ass like "Im back b****es!"

He's just going to tear everything up. I can't wait.

um not true i got my 4 yo son the voyager and when he first saw he said wow! Cool! Than he noticed the green sword,chest,eyes and said hey daddy whats the green for is this optimus sik? good toy bad choice of clear plastic colors.

Darn. I was kinda hoping they would have the guts to kill him and make SS the new prime. Kinda discards the emotional impact with the past 2 episodes with this route.

Because this is an image for tomorrows episode and no body knew that Optimus was gonna come back in episode 4 the description just said

I feel you man. He's probably going to be dead for a little bit. (promo picture that show his lifeless eyes) Maybe his time being dead will give smokescreen more leadership overall. But smokescreen prime? it doesnt sound right to me. I like him as a character and a leader at that would be better. But i could never imagine transformers seriously using smokescreen prime.

Because all the prior images we're in relation to the toys. We didn't know if Prime would actually appear this way in the show. This image is directly from the Hub promoting tomorrow's new episode.

Too bad Smokescreen isn't going to be the leader, but Prime's BH toy seems the only one who might be in the show. The retools for the other Transformers might be in the end of the season. I think they did this to avoid any animation errors of Prime in UM's colors or UM in Prime's colors.

There is the Takara version of the figure, and the Dr. Wu Star Saber, you know.

So.... what I got from this spoiler image is that after a near death experience Prime turns to Roids and pumping iron. Well, lets hope that the smaller ball bearings are aerodynamic in helping him channel his new found rage.

At least we don't have to listen to Smokescreen turn emo like Starscream did.

There have been a couple of promotional images with him as well as the one on the Voyager class box. So while this is news, it's not much of a surprise. But thank Primus as I'm not too fond of the Hot Rodish Smokescreen.

animeflavor.com tends to have the episodes up same day a few hours after it airs. That's where I watch it.

The website's logo is a Decepticon insignia as well.

How so? It could have been an image of a cold dead Prime, or a ghost Prime, or Prime handing the Matrix to Smokescreen, or anything Prime related.

Besides, everybody already knows Prime isn't going to die in any permanent manner. Peter Cullen has said in interviews that he doesn't die, Benson Yee has already posted a review of tomorrow's episode stating that he doesn't die, and it's ya know...........Optimus Prime, he tends to make a habit of not staying dead.

how is this a spoiler? The toys have been out for months & we all know prime will never be killed off again. And if he is killed off it will only be for about 30 minutes or 1-2 episodes. Stupid fraking whiny kids crying that prime died, same goes for gijoe & Duke.

Yea, thats great and all that he comes back, I don't really care either way, but it's pretty lame that the last 2 episodes suggested that Smokescreen was going to be some sort of prime, next in line. Let's see how they make it happen, but, for some reason, season 3 isn't cutting it for me. Everything is happening so perfectly for the Autobots to catch a break... boring.

It's a spoiler because up until we weren't sure Prime would appear this way in the show. Up until now all it's been all about the toys, and as we know just because a toy gets produced doesn't mean in will make it to the show. I highly doubt the rest of the cast will get their Beast Hunter upgrades in the show.

Well, we saw a rendering on Prime's packaging, and we saw basically this image on the Hub's invitation to the red carpet premiere.

Not to mention, Optimus's new design has been more consistent between the toys. The Commander one looks like the Voyager one looks like the Kre-O one, while pretty much everybody else has a different design for each subline. And they went to the effort of making a completely new mold, while everybody else who's not getting a new body in-show is just a retool of their RID toy. I think it was a foregone conclusion that Optimus would actually look like this in the show.

Those shoulder pads look like Smokescreen's. Could this guy actually be smokescreen and not Optimus? Or did the two somehow merge into a new character? Only a few hours left to see what really happens.

Optimus Prime can never die, only the toy models that portray him. Oh yeah!

Also, DAMN THE NEW PRIME IS MASSIVE. Just to keep scale we'll need Dragon Blaster Prime and Platinum Ultra Magnus.

As a Transformers Prime episode, I thought it was a fantastic episode that continued the general pace from season 2.

However, as a "Beast Hunters" episode, I thought it was another flawed episode that doesn't seem to be lining up with the Beast Hunters marketing and toyline. With each passing episode, it's becoming more and more obvious that the Beast Hunters theme is just a marketing ploy / gimmick for the toyline than it is about a true universal theme for the cartoon. Predaking seemed really forced in this episode and was easily defeated. Shockwave, on the other hand, was far more "badass" that Predaking.

Hopefully the IDW Beast Hunters comics will fill in the gaps to make it seem much more like Beast Hunters to match the toyline than the cartoon is doing.

I think when everything is all said and done, I'll be really happy that the cartoon stuck to its guns and stayed true to the general format from the past couple of years. I think it will feel much more like Transformers Prime Season 3 than Beast Hunters season 1 (yes, I know it's TFP Season 3, but hopefully you know what I mean or am feeling).

Believe it or not, that did not go over my head. But there are several possible explanations for it, not the least of which is that it was a damn joke the writers threw in. You sweat the small stuff way too much.

Has it been established that Ultra Magnus is the leader of the Wreckers in this continuity?

I think most of the supplementary material has heavily implied or outright stated it, but I don't remember it being said in the Prime cartoon directly, which is one of the reasons I don't think it's a big deal.
