New Teaser for Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MP-20 Wheeljack

Pulled a little detail out. Should be nice. Preordered.

Played with the lighting a bit in PS. Reveals a little more detail.

Anyone here read Japanese? I'm not sure how accurate Google Translate really is; did Hasui actually say that Wheeljack was his latest MP... or his last MP?

I hope the news about a replacement designer turn out to be a misunderstanding, I don't want a different designer, I want Hasui to stay. Especially for Bumblebee and the inevitable new Megatron.

Also, as far as I'm aware of, the MP-10 was Hasui's baby, not Kobayashi's.

I ran the image through Photoshop to bring out a little bit of detail, courtesy of fellow Seibertronian Anna-Christine Sanders-Browning on Facebook who did the same thing.

Seems to be saying his "latest" or "most recent" MP work.

I'm not loving this silhouette so far. Maybe when we see something a little more detailed I will get a little more excited.

all of the other masterpieces were excellent, a perfect mix of the original toy and the cartoon and some reality.i seriously think that they won't mess this up, have some faith people.

Compared to those of today, MP Megatron is debatable. And maybe MP Rodimus with all his QC issues.

Its funny, I thought he would be one of the easier cars to pull off?

Possible Sunstreaker retool? All it takes is a new car mode shell while keeping the transformation intact

The head sculpt, forearms, and shins look good so far. Bicep/shoulders, ankles, and waist are not looking so hot from this angle. But I am holding out for more details.

Remember, a lot of people had problems with the width of MP Sideswipe's chest relative to the animation model. When all's said and done, I think Wheeljack will be an excellent addition to the MP lineup.
