Transformation is really close to the deluxe version. A few more little steps added and that's it. Like Bumblebee he has a weapon for one of his hands. The left hand is a "spinning blade" that pops out when you press the gas cap on the car. Frenzy can ride in the car or under the hood ala the deluxe version.
...while the rest can be seen on TFW2005 here.
For those who missed out on our first look at Human Alliance Barricade's packaging, then check that out here. For your Human Alliance needs, there's Seibertron.com's toy galleries...
Bumblebee w/ Sam Witwicky

yup..the guy needs a good repaint..i will get him since i only got HABB. he's the only decepticon so far

Skids rekindled my love for Human Alliance, and Barricade looks to seal the deal for me, for quite a while.
I almost walked away from the whole H.A. shootin' match after Sideswipe. The more I think about it, yes, he's THAT bad.

and give us this:
Who do they have working in the paint department? It is obviously the wrong colours. They keep making these mistakes.

I wish it was a mistake, but the sad truth is they give them horrendous colors on purpose, and on the box photoshop in the most attractive colors ever, so you'll buy it and end up buying a more beefed-up version after seeing slightly decent paint apps on a new one
I'm disappointed in this guy. Could've had a better more accurate robot mode, better Frenzy, better paint, etc.

A nice dark grey would have looked great.

I'm not sure it's brown...I think it's more the camera and lighting than anything there. Gonna wait to see it first hand before judging it.

This really is extremely disappointing. I know to expect quality differences between the promo pictures and the actual product but this is a completely different colour scheme. I really find it hard to believe that it could be seen as acceptable to differ this much.
Maybe if I pray hard enough something good will happen to it between now and it reaching my local store.
Bah.

AutobotJazz87 wrote:The pictures do certainly make the color choice look horrid. Even so, it could be just another "Universe Cyclonus" scenario where the brown/beige looks off on the character but sells well in the end. You guys remember this right? People complaining left and right about the color only to find themselves clearing store shelves in the end. Anyway, in the toy's defense, pictures never do it justice and until I have it in my hand, I'll reserve some judgement for now.
Of course, Cyclonus had a fantastic mold, was a very popular character (even more so than Barricade) and was the first "proper" Targetmaster in around 2 decades. But I get your point.
