So now we know that the colour scheme is as bad as we feared. Not that i care, he was going to get a repaint anyway! His articulation seems pretty good (at least he doesn't have monkey arms!) but so far HABB is the only one with impressive articulation.

I'll wait for the Takara version.. hopefully it be slighlty better.

Skids rekindled my love for Human Alliance, and Barricade looks to seal the deal for me, for quite a while.

I almost walked away from the whole H.A. shootin' match after Sideswipe. The more I think about it, yes, he's THAT bad.

Who do they have working in the paint department? It is obviously the wrong colours. They keep making these mistakes.

The torso looks much better but I'm still not a fan about the relatively small block of a chest it has. The colours...yeah, not great, especially the grill being the brown/dirty grey colour.

I wish it was a mistake, but the sad truth is they give them horrendous colors on purpose, and on the box photoshop in the most attractive colors ever, so you'll buy it and end up buying a more beefed-up version after seeing slightly decent paint apps on a new one

I'm disappointed in this guy. Could've had a better more accurate robot mode, better Frenzy, better paint, etc.

Why brown? Of all colors why did hasbro choose brown?

A nice dark grey would have looked great.

Excited about the figure, not the paint scheme. I can live with it.

He looks ok, but he seriously needs a better paint scheme. I'll pick him up; he's a pass for me.

I'm not sure it's brown...I think it's more the camera and lighting than anything there. Gonna wait to see it first hand before judging it.

Brown or not, it clashes so horribly with the black it doesn't matter. =/

This really is extremely disappointing. I know to expect quality differences between the promo pictures and the actual product but this is a completely different colour scheme. I really find it hard to believe that it could be seen as acceptable to differ this much.

Maybe if I pray hard enough something good will happen to it between now and it reaching my local store.

Can they please stop photoshopping the hell out of the pictures. It only makes the actual figures look like crap. No need to photoshop them, we'll still get them. Although, this guy is kind of meh.

I've yet to buy a single Human Alliance figure, and this one basically a combination of every aspect of the HA figures I dislike. What an ugly bot... Yuck. Its apropos that it's colored in a poop like brown, cause this guy is a turd. Also his chest transformation is disappointing and lame.

The camera does intensify the brown. It isn't as bad in person but, it isn't great either. I think it should have been more of a dark grey. Oh well, if we waited for screen accurate toys... we would never have any to play with.

With the turd green paint and that huge neck he looks like a sasquach....

The pictures do certainly make the color choice look horrid. Even so, it could be just another "Universe Cyclonus" scenario where the brown/beige looks off on the character but sells well in the end. You guys remember this right? People complaining left and right about the color only to find themselves clearing store shelves in the end. Anyway, in the toy's defense, pictures never do it justice and until I have it in my hand, I'll reserve some judgement for now.

Of course, Cyclonus had a fantastic mold, was a very popular character (even more so than Barricade) and was the first "proper" Targetmaster in around 2 decades. But I get your point.

The colors are one of those "what the hell were they thinking?" things, but I'll still get him. I've loved all the HA figures so far.

Really disappointed in this-it looks bad IMO.

Give it some time people we all know that photos never look any where near the same as the final product in hand.

After seeing the youtube review of this I must admit I'm pretty underwhelmed. Seems too close to the deluxe and I don't feel a great need for a bigger version of that figure. After Skids my high hopes for this line returned, but I'm back to feeling a bit disappointed and that Skids is just the exception. They just don't live up to the greatness that was Alternators... The alt modes are there (for the most part,) but the bot modes and transformations just don't match, and I still think it's largely due to the stupid, worthless, accompanying "figure" and the interactive gimmicks they try to incorporate.
