is it just the art on Shockwave's face or does his eye actually light up on that face board thingy? i'm thinking if it does, it might just be to get the light reflection on object and/or people.

as for Soundwave, he clearly did have a mouth in ROTF but those mandible like thingies kinda covered it a little. he's the Predator of the Transformers universe i guess. :p

Bay really is screwing up a good thing with the ShW head. But I am glad Shockwave is in it.

I also am unsure what to think of Soundwave since he seems totally different than the read TF character. WHy not have his face resemble the Deception symbol and go into that? Duh Bay.

I like the idea of Menasour and the Stuntacons.

I hope that somehow the Dinobots make it into this one too. THat would be epic.

I also hope that SIlverbolt turns out to be something based off of the Beast Wars character and not just a jet from the Arialbots. But they would be cool too. ButI wonder since Bay started the whole Beast Wars idea with the "hatchlings" in TF2. He better finish his story there.

is it just me or is bay getting lazy? I mean for the first two movies it was alot harder to get hold of stuff like this but, now it's like bay wants us to see what he's doing! It just feels way to easy.

This is true.... Perhaps all the "filming" and "set locations" and "leaked spoilers" are just decoys while Bay works on the REAL movie behind closed doors!
I smell conspiracy!!!........ or I coulda had way too much caffiene and not enough sleep before getting online..... who knows....

Well, its kinda hard to hide blowing up all of down town chicago. I think Bay might have just realized that all the secrecy just isn't worth it. That, or he feels its just more fun to watch people speculate for the next 11 months.

I love it! Honestly, I'm very happy they're not trying to hide as much being I am getting a better perception of what to expect, which will in turn dictate my move going experience. Do I wan't to go all out and make it a party thing with my friends at the Arclight, perhaps see the movie props they'll have on display and just shell out $ for the whole experience. Or, do I want to just wait it out till there's no one watching it and the tix are cheaper and I'm just bored so I jet it solo and just sit down with a cherry cola and some cookie dough bites? As of now, I'm still undecided. I'm more excited that films like Sucker Punch and Pirates 4 will be coming out next year then I am this. So, keep up the eye candy Bay! Convince me to spend that cold hard cash ;P

As for soundwave, I'm happy this head is more true to the Josh Nizzi head created for the art verses the crappy beetle mouth head we got in the film. Even so, this new head seems to have more of a developed mouth which, I kind of liked the oroginal concept with no mouth really.

However, knowing producers and Directors alike (I'm not point blame to one or the other fully..yet, so don't get your panties in a bunch) they prob thought two robots with no mouth and glowing red sight mechanisims were too simular to be showcasing side by side...(Kind of like the reason they dropped Nightcrawler for Beast in X3, too many blue mutants they said :roll:

) which is total BS, but understandable. As for Shockwaves head, now that I got a better look at it, is it just me of does this look like concept art more then production art? Like, they didn't sign off on a design yet, but needed something for a place holder for filming, so they grabbed some random concept art. It's just, when you compare the art quality between the two heads, Shockwave looks underdeveloped. I don't think this is the final head design.

On the Don Murphy's forum appeared a picture of Megatron on a stick. So for the final battle we have Shockwave, Soundwave and Megatron - I guess the autobots will need a bigger help (combiner or Ultra Magnus).

I wish it would be movie accurate if the move characters are REALLY COOL.

The Chicago shoot is getting so out of hand they can apparently feel it all the way up in Canada: CBC news at noon just had 30 second spot on it, but didn't show much except a skyscraper-top explosion.

...wait a minute...something isn't right...

All in all, this is turning into a HUGE fight between HUGE robots...

I'm gonna laugh my a** off when the character that everyone is speculating as Shockwave turns out to be something entirely different. I mean, seriously folks, what on earth makes any of you think that just because the thing has one glowing eye that it's going to have ANYTHING to do with our favorite analytical G1 bad-ass. This is Michael Bay's TF universe. Now, I'm probably wrong, (wouldn't be the first time, won't be the last) I've been working long hours at a new job and likely missed the post confirming Shockwaves appearance in the movie. I really don't much care because the same general rule applies to ALL the speculation that everyone has just been running wild with. The truth of it all is, we've seen a lot of pictures, none of them in any real context, and the fandom really, truly doesn't know jack about what is actually going on but is instead making wild guesses and people are just running with it. :BANG_HEAD:

Hope that makes you feel better, dragons. Now you can make your comments and know that someone has your back and was willing to take the first bullet for ya.

Then thee is the Easter egg in ROTF of a G1 Shockwave statue in a newspaper article. And I'm pretty sure that the "Shockwave" head is Shockwave, after all it looks like him.

Also Shockwave seems to have mandibles under his eye.

Was there any confirmation that Nascar Cars are autobots? I mean autobot symbol on side or something? Or is it just a wild guess?

Actually the picture with Megatron's head may be from the first movie. It was posted by a forum member on Don Murphy's forum so it is nothing official yet.
