Yeah it makes no sense that they would have the fallen in the teaser poster if he is in the movie, it would spoil tthe big bad.

It can only be an already known character

You're right, it does, especially due to the eyes and those lines on the sides. Maybe we will be more sure when the teaser trailer is released. I'm really looking forward to it.

Don't know if your being sarcastic or not, no worries though, but to me it doesnt make sense to tease the unknown enemy especially since they've done such a good job this year of us notknowing what is real and what's false info from bay.

Someone mentioned the jetfire comparison and it looks like it could be that(fins on the side of the head). Especially if his storyline is true.

It just doesnt make sense to have it actually be the fallen because for a year it's been "is he or isn't he in the movie".

Edit: and for anyone that wants to say "he has red eyes, he has to be a bad guy" remember that ironhide had red eyes in the first trailer too.

soundwave has one big visor eye... plus this guy looks really weathered... it looks more like his face is blending in with the hieroglyphics around him, and not wide like jetfire... with everything we know about the movie (the title, the egypt stuff, etc) it's pretty obvious it's the Fallen... he is the title character afterall... makes sense he'd be teased on the "teaser" poster

Whether it's The Fallen or not (my vote's on yes), it's definitely Egyptian in style. Obviously based on a Pharaoh's nemes headdress.

I totally agree about the Pharaoh similarities and the Decepticon symbol face. He also reminds me of the Transmetal Rampage. I wonder if there is any loose inspiration from Rampage in the character?

so if it is fallen, then i think the writers were watching another movie at the time and got ideas, because if the fallen is the inspiration for the pyramids and such then i'll feel like i'm watching stargate all over again.
