Hot on the heels of our Transformers: Prime coverage from BotCon 2011, we have some brand new looks at Transformers Kre-O, the new line of "Leading Brand"-compatible building toys featuring a Transformers Theme.
The gallery, shot by Seibertron, himself, features both the larger assembled figures as well as close-up shots of the highly anticipated Minimates-style Mini G1 Figures!
The galleries feature looks at the sets for both sizes of Optimus Prime, Starscream, Sentinel Prime, Megatron, Mirage, both sizes of Bumblebee, Ratchet, and Prowl.

The Kreons are great i love them. But the giant kre-o counterparts suck. Oh well what are you going to do. I agree with you guys i would love just a pack of the kreons.

For some reason I want that Kre-O Prime item.
So far, these have proven to be better than the BTR stuff. I'm still waiting until I see them in person to make a judgment.

Huh I'm more interested in the "Kre-Os" rather than the "Kreons" though I gotta say...These kreons does look nice and I bet my sister going to like it more than I do lol.

Yaay. In truth I was worried he'd look a little naff like Starscream does, but this puts all my worries to rest. I might have to order two of those Prime sets so I can have one for play and one for display.

Sad to say... that particular batch of G1 characters is about when I -STOP- caring about TF's.
Give us the entire grouping of 1984 - 1985 TF's as Kreons, and then I'LL care.

I find it funny that most people in this thread want the Kreons more than the figures that are actually being sold.
Seems to me like Hasbro needs to cash in on Minimates.
I think the disaster that was BTR is also partly to blame for the lack of love towards the larger figures. Seems like everyone is afraid.

I honestly looked over the bigger KRE-O's and There doesn't seem much like playability for kids there. Look at Starscream for example. In Jet mode, yes, kids could have fun, but in robot mode, it looks like they would fall apart and you would spend more time putting it back together often. In robot mode more of a display I'd say.
They do seem to be pushing these cause many people would want the KRE-ONS and you have to buy the bigger guy to get them. Well played I'd say.
