Sideswipe

Profile: Sideswipe is nearly the equal of his twin brother, Sunstreaker, in the combat arts, but far less cold blooded. Relishes a fight to the finish with an opponent, and isn't above using dirty, underhanded tactics to come out on top. Before the Great War this kind of conduct extended to the rest of his lifestyle. He was a likeable grifter who had no compunctions about lying and cheating to get his way. Living life in the fast lande and pursuing any new pleasure seeking exploits that came his way were all that really mattered to him. As an Autobot, Sideswipe's overall behavior hasn't changed all too much, but his mission has. Now instead of doing everyting for himself, he's fighting for a greater cause: teh freedom of everyone against tyranny and oppression. He often disregards his own personal safety in favor of protecting other. He's one of the more reckless Autobots out there, but his brave actions invariably command respect from those who know him.

Abilities: In robot mode his arms can act as powerful pile drivers. They can deliver up to 4 tons of force per impact with five impacts per second. This ability to rain down such a punishing barrage of blows on an opponent, combined with combat skills honed over centuries of warfare, makes Sideswipe a lethal opponent in close quarters combat. Double barreled multi-purpose launcher mounted on right arm fires dual incendiary missiles. Launcher weapon also doubles as melee weapon which can create twin fiery sabers. Houlder mounted weapons ports fires blinding magnesium phosphorous flares visible for 18 miles. Heavily reinforced shield mounted on left arm resists most artillery fire. In car mode rear mounted rocket boosters allow Sideswipe to reach speeds in excess of 450 mph for up to 2 minutes.

Weaknesses: Sideswipe is a valiant warrior, but his reckless, thrill seeking, nature often gets him into extremely dangerous situations. Rash actions often lead to injuries to himself, but he naturally takes them all in stride.
