Can't help but weep for the poor clanker. A pawn of a far greater evil.

It kind of twists the brain a bit, wondering what would happen if the Decpeticons from the current comics were carried ahead into the "futuristic" setting of the original Transformer movie and had to go through the battle for Autobot City and it's subsuquent aftermath.
(Unicron and being converted to their new forms) Even if the inital outcome had been the same how would the personalities of 'Cracker,'Warp and even Megs come across in their new forms.
I wonder if the outcome of the battle would even have been quite the same.

That's what I love about these stories...the "What If" factor.

This story actually brought a tear to my eye...

Is this how the tragedy of Thundercracker ends? Little more than a slave? Losing all that he is in the name of conquest...

Glad this only mentions Thundercracker as Scourge and not who Cyclonus is. We do not want to start up that infamous Bombshell vs. Skywarp argument.

I dont usually comment on the mosaic strips but wow....i really like this one. It kinda get u wondering if the recarnations Cons eva reflect or remember their past selves. This was deep and kinda wish it was exploited a lil bit more

Nice Job!
I'd always wondered if there was some vestige of previous identity lurking within Galvatron and his bunch.

Is that the smouldering, slagged remains of Starscream I see over Galvy's left shoulder? :-?

The Skywarp/Bomshell argument is raised though... in the last panel.

"At least he's become one as well." Shows Cyclonus.

Could take that too mean that Scourge/Cracker can reconcile his fate of being a slave so long as Cyclonus/Skywarp is by his side.

For purposes of the mosaic though, the interperetation above would not be invalidated by Cyclonus being Bombshell, as it would only be dependant on Scourge/Cracker thinking that it's his old Seeker constant companion.

Or, Scourge/Cracker could be talking about Galvatron/Megatron there at the end, but I didn't get that interpretation after a second reading.

*this coming from someone who holds firmly to the Cyclonus/Bombshell side of the age old debate*

I've made it very clear in the past how little I like all these mosaics that keep popping up, even reffering to them as the plague, but this is actually the first one I've ever read (I've tried to like some in the past, but couldn't) that I actually like, and think is pretty cool. Its not some crazy made up scenario like half of them, its not really "fan wank" (even if the whole skywarp/bombshell arguement is brought up) considering its a setting taken directly out of the movie. Hell starscream's smouldering remains are sitting on the top of the stairs in that one picture, and Unicron does tell them to attack autobot city. I like how most of the background information for this one is already established, and that it can actually tell a coherent and complete story in the few panels it uses (which seems to be a very big problem alot of these mosaics seem to have, that the background information isn't quite so concrete, and that the plot in the strip suffers because it tries to tell so much in so little space, at least in my opinion).

It sounded more to me like he was referring to Galvatron, being a slave to Unicron as well.
