Transformers Fan-favorite singer-songwriter and musician Stan Bush sent us the following press release to share with all of you Seibertronians out there ...
“The Touch” Video Contest challenges participants to create any kind of video – from live action to animation – that makes reference to both “The Touch” and the Rock Band game (any version.) The subject matter is completely up to the participant(s). Videos to be considered for the contest must be created and uploaded no later than January 11th, 2011 and can be hosted on any site of the participant’s choosing (YouTube, dailymotion, Vimeo, etc.) Judging of the videos and the three top winners will be handled by Stan Bush himself! The grand prize for “The Touch” Video Contest is a complete set of Stan Bush CD’s, each personally autographed by the artist. Runners up will receive CD’s and/or a Stan Bush t-shirt. To submit your entry for consideration in “The Touch” Video Contest, send an email to contest@authoritymusic.com containing your full name, e-mail address and the URL of your completed video no later than January 11th, 2011. Winners will be contacted via e-mail.
Also coming in 2011, the Rock Band Network release of Stan Bush’s “Til All Are One” from the hit video game Transformers: War for Cybertron! Plus, Stan teams with “The Touch” co-writer Lenny Macaluso once again for the forthcoming single “Heat of the Battle,” available soon for digital download!
One other note: a special reissue of the original classic “Stan Bush & Barrage” album, featuring “The Touch” and “Love Don’t Lie”, is now available at stanbush.com!
The War for Cybertron page on Facebook has updated to let everyone know that this Thanksgiving weekend will be a 10x XP weekend, which started last night and goes through Sunday November 28th at Midnight. Here's the quote from the WFC "Transformers Game" Facebook page:
We kick off another 10x XP blast starting...now! We will keep the XP rewards up to 10x their normal value all the way through this week and into this weekend, ending on Sunday Nov 28th at midnight. Enjoy a leg of turkey while you level your transformers up even quicker this weekend.
Gaming website IGN has posted some interesting news, including the announcement of a sequel to this years War for Cybertron and a game based on the upcoming Transformers:Dark of the Moon as well as a brief mention of a Transformers based MMO being developed.
While few details are provided, it's still a confirmation that new games are in the works.

Million Publishing has posted a teaser page for the possible upcoming new book on Transformers - Transformers Generations 2010.
No further information on this book is available other than the release date - 19th November 2010.

Via the Transformers War For Cybertron video game FACEBOOK page, we get great news for people who have been postponing their online gaming experience for just the right moment.
Of course that moment is a 10x XP weekend Friday through Sunday!

Seibertron member Optibotimus has conducted a video review on the 3rd party toy maker Headrobots for Hothead Upgrade Set - the add on for Transformers Universe Hardhead.
This add on set comes with a brand new headmaster to replace the head of Hardhead. Other accessories include the all new weapons for Hardhead.

For a while now, select cell phone owners could download Glu Mobile's Transformers G1: Awakening to their phones. However, owners of Google Android cell phones have been left out ... until now. Glu Mobile announced on their Twitter page yesterday that they have now released a version of the game that can be played on the Android. The game is now listed on App Brain and can be downloaded for $2.99. Make sure to download it if you haven't yet and tell us all about the G1 goodness.
