TFC-005 GOW2 Product Images & Weapons Details

Thanks to HK-TF member chenkofs, we get to see the detailed images of TFC 005 Gear Of War 2. This is a set of weapons that can be used for various incarnations of Optimus Prime - i.e. ROTF Optimus Prime, Movie 1 Optimus Prime, Classic/Henkei Optimus Prime, Fansproject City Commander as well as Alternity Convoy.

Another main attraction of this add-on weapon set is the LED light up feature, check out some of the images that we mirrored here.

In Box Images of Scout 2 Packs "Windy City Chase" and "Road Rival Showdown"

We finally get to know the names behind the faces. The-Arker dishes out images of a couple of Scout 2-packs, the "Windy City Chase" and the "Road Rival Showdown". The Windy City Chase is composed of a Wheelie-like repaint of Dead End, called Slap Dash. He fights against the Decepticon Trenchmouth, a repaint of Knock Out. The Road Rival Showdown incorporates a battle between the Autobot Beachcomber, a repaint of Dune Runner and the Decepticon Deadlift, the Gobot Spoons like repaint of Dirt Boss. Everything SLAP DASH does, he does in a hurry. Not because he's fast, though he is, but more because he's lazy. Careful planning just isn't his thing. Unfortunately, TRENCHMOUTH is not the sort of DECEPTICON you want to fight without some foresight. He may be a filthy, poorly tuned road hog, but he's also a smart, canny fighter.

There was a time when neither BEACHCOMBER nor DEADLIFT were interested in warfare. BEACHCOMBER spent his time exploring the barren wilderness of remote planets, while DEADLIFT enjoyed the function of transporting deactivated Decepticons to the smelting pools for repurposing. Now, however, the war has drawn both of them into its grip, and the two find themselves in a close-quarters fight to the finish.

Video Review of Revenge of the Fallen Dirt Boss Orange Repaint 'Deadlift''

Since we had yet to see the boxart of this Dirt Boss repaint, there was no official name for this figure. Now we do have a name, and the scout goes by the name 'Deadlift'. The resemblance to an old Gobot Character is clear identification that this repaint is a homage of Gobot Spoons. Youtuber Peaugh has acquired the orange repaint, and reviews the Scout Class figure. He goes over articulation, transformation, and compares the figure to the original Dirt Boss. You can check out the review on Youtube, or directly on this embed news post.

Resemblances include the MR-34 logo, similar alternate mode, and the orange paint!

Hasbro Studios hires new Executive Producer

While we anxiously wait for the new Hasbro-Discovery joint venture network to take the air, Hasbro Studios continues to make key personnel hires. For those who are not aware, Hasbro Studios will be in charge of creating new programming for this network, based of course on iconic Hasbro toys such as Transformers, G.I. Joe, My Little Pony and many more.

In August, Stephen Davis was named President of Hasbro Studios. Just last month, Linda Steiner was appointed General Manager. Today, courtesy of a Hasbro, Inc. press release comes the news that Kathy Samuels is the new Executive producer.

Here is an excerpt of that press release.

PAWTUCKET, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 6, 2009-- Kathy Samuels ;ndash; an industry veteran with a proven track record of success during stints at both CBS Television Distribution Group (CTDG) and NBC ;ndash; has been named Executive Producer at the newly-formed, Los Angeles-based Hasbro Studios. In this new role, Samuels will be responsible for overseeing production on a number of the Studio;rsquo;s creative initiatives, covering a variety of program genres, according to Stephen J. Davis, Hasbro Studios President.

Samuels;rsquo; engagement follows her work at CTDG, television;rsquo;s number one syndicator of programming. New Images of Revenge of the Fallen Nebular Starscream

Fear not, the Allspark Battle colours of fluorescent teal are long gone, however Voyager Starscream looks to have indulged himself in tattoos of the color. Final Colors of iGear's TF-001 The Wreckers Leader Upgrade

Forum member s250 shows us another iGear update, this time around it's a much anticipated City Commander upgrade set, the TF-001 Wreckers Leader Upgrade. Hasbro version of Legend Class Devastator gift set, Takara Tomy surely will cause dilemma to potential buyers by introducing the G1 coloured repaint version of EZ Devastator.

Thanks to Famitoy for the image, we get to see the new picture of the repainted version. The release date tentatively will be on March 2010.

Malaysian toy shop has updated their website with new images of the Disney Label Donald Duck Monochrome Version.
This is a repaint version of original Disney Label Donald Duck Holiday Version. The image also shows Donald Duck gimmicks and according to Famitoy, this version will be released on March 2010.

Andy Schmidt responds to comments concerning Transformers Ongoing #1 Spoilers

Less than a day after the 3 page preview of Transformers Ongoing #1, we get another article concerning the new comic series from Comic Book Resources. Andy Schmidt, editor of Transformers #1, responds to the fandom's opinion of the direction of the comic being methodical and divergent from previous Transformers series, as well as other issues regarding the comic series.
