Back during Toy Fair 2013 we were told by Hasbro representatives that we could expect a Platinum Edition set featuring a redeco of Transformers Generations Voyager Grimlock and Bruticus. We've mirrored the images from the auction below, along with some comparison images of Takara Tomy's TG-19 Grimlock. Note the differences in the gold and lack of red on this figures abdomen among other deco differences.

The figure pictured in the auction does differ slightly from the Henkei version, and sports Decepticon symbols on his wings, but an Autobot symbol on his chest. This seller has proven quite reliable in the past, and many of the original Classics molds have been cranked out for the Asian market over the past year or so. Time will tell if this is legit or not.

We've mirrored a few of their images below, visit The Spacebrige facebook page for many more obscure Transformers prototypes and design sketches.

This crazy colored G1 Megatron was a proposed reissue that was ultimately scrapped because he was still too much of a gun.

Here's a couple of early prototypes for the G1 City-formers Metroplex and Trypticon.

This early concept for the G1 Predacons featured Razorclaw with a head that transformed into the head for Predaking.

Here we have a look at the G1 Unicron prototype, this version came with an orbiting moon accessory and had a voice changing feature in addition to the voice clips.

This Cyclonus prototype was originally used as a model by the animators of the 1986's Transformers: The Movie.

Lastly we have some images of the unreleased G2 Protectobots.

In a nutshell, Takara Tomy became aware of the remote controlled transforming robot from Brave Robotics that was making the YouTube rounds late last year, they liked what they saw, now they're working with the original creator to produce official products.
