Preorders Open for Commander Class Armada Jetfire with Requiem Blaster

It's been a while since we've had a good leak from Jtprime17 and this one's a doozy. Not because it's long but because it fills in some missing pieces that we've been waiting years for. We're finally getting a Machine Wars Starscream from the Legacy Evolution Skyquake mold from 2023, G2 Wildrider to wrap up the Stunticon cars that started with Shadowstrip in 2022, and our first two limbs for Nexus Prime as was promised after his reveal in the form of Breakaway and Sky Guard (the new name for Skyfall). Plus we're getting Voyager Guzzle for the Wreckers fans, Deluxe Alpha Bravo for the Combiner Wars Fans (no doubt a repaint of Vortex), and a Cybershark to bolster your Transmetals ranks. There's also another Leader listing for Leader "New Prime", which could be just that as a way to wrap the Age of the Primes line.

Also, since this is where we talk about the Walmart Retro line, we have two more of those to talk about. First up is Bugbite, the white repaint of Bumblebee. He wasn't originally a G1 figure (he was a GoBot) so it should be interesting to see what the evil car's card art looks like. Second up is Exhaust, the evil repaint of Wheeljack and definitely not a cigarette ad. Exhaust is our first non-Mini Vehicle which really opens wide the possibilities.

Now that you mention it, I kinda remember hearing that, but then it was retracted or something.

All the designers said when Nexus was officially revealed was that they were making dedicated Nexus limbs and that he can use Superion's booster/frame, the existence of a dedicated skeleton was never confirmed OR denied.

I think when the stock photos for Nexus leaked a few days before that presentation, a leaker said there was no skeleton planned for Nexus, but they also said there were no limbs planned in that same sentence and that got disproven almost immediately by the stream and now again with the listings, so now we just don't know. Maybe that back-and-forth is what you remember?

I've been waiting for that Machine Wars Starscream. I got both the original and the botcon.

That "New Prime" is intriguing. What will it be?

Vector's already slated for a Voyager release in this year's Wave 3 (the next wave to be revealed) before this new extension wave would hit.

A re-release of the same Legacy toy?

Possibly, none of the package refreshes were labeled as such in the listings this year (proven by Prime Cliffjumper), so we have no real indication at the moment if Vector (or Fangry for that matter) is the exact same figure again or a repaint/retool. At the very least they could just slap his symbol/logo on the Cyber Planet Key and call it a day, if they think that's sufficient and/or all the budget allows.

If I remember right he had first said Nexus was the last Prime in the line and then was reminded of Vector and there was some indication it wouldn't be a straight refresh. I'm guessing a gold repaint, we'll see.
