Will there be a Matrix laden, juiced up Scourge?

We have a lot of news and images from the upcoming Transformers Studio Series More Than Meets The Eye Collection leaders Optimus Prime and Megatron. These are slight retools of the recent Studio Series Optimus Prime and Megatron figures, meant to represent their clash in the Transformers animated film from 1986. They both have new chests and headsculpts along with new accessories. These are expected to go up tomorrow as preorders on both the Target and Pulse websites, around 9am ET. They are both exclusives.

That Megatron arm is expensive. Megatron arms don't grow on trees you know. Ratchet had to scavenge it and carefully attach all the little wires.

It cost an arm & no leg, supposedly.

Swindle drove the price up when he traded one for that toaster, then apparently somehow exchanged that for his new trailer/cannon.

No doubt the upcoming "Sleep Mode Prime" is going to be using this mold.

The top of the chest is not at all how it is in the cartoon nor how it's ever been before. Look at the top of his chest in both of the images. The angle is incredibly off to the point that it's almost flat on the Studio Series toy versus how it's supposed to be like it is in the screen shot from the cartoon you posted. To be blunt, the new toy is shaped more like a standard male chest versus a female chest.

I really don't mind, but I can see why you might.

Really liking Soundwave so far. Does everything he needs to do. Interesting bit: they went to the trouble of molding in the volume wheel and the slider switch on the back of his legs despite the fact you will not usually seem them in robot mode, and are entirely hidden in Tape Deck mode.
