Summary: Megatron wants a Decepticon road force to better combat the Autobots and so builds the Stunticons. The Stunticons lack individual personalities, so the Decepticons bring their new sub-team to Cybertron in search of Vector Sigma, the supercomputer that gives all Transformers sentience. To activate Vector Sigma, Megatron must find its key, and only Alpha Trion has it.
