It's back! After an enforced absence to make way for our epic Time Wars story, the Underbase saga resumes - with a vengeance! Ratbat, the Decepticon commander on present-day Earth, has finally deciphered secret information captured from the Autobots. It concerns the legendary Underbase, the most powerful database in the galaxy. Imagine Ratbat's surprise when he discovers that the supposedly mythical Underbase actually exists! Not only that, but it's about to enter our Solar System after millions of years in space! The race is on to capture it, but there's a slight problem. Not only is Starscream interested in the Underbase (and he's well known for his treachery), but also on the scene is Ratbat's chief rival for the Decepticon leadership - the vastly powerful Scorponok!
