Jem: The Misfits by IDW Publishing

A spin-off of the massively popular Jem and the Holograms series launched in late 2016 from IDW Publishing. This series is part of the shared Hasbro Universe of comics series, though currently this series (like it's ancestor, Jem and the Holograms) has not had direct interaction with other series. Keen eyed readers will note the first reference to The Misfits in Optimus Prime #3, as a poster for the band can be seen on the wall of the little girl Jazz speaks to through a window. Kelly Thompson again takes up the reins as the series' primary author, with current primary artist Jenn St-Onge and colorist M. Victoria Robado.
