A possible fix for Beast Wars Grimlock?

Postby shitlord2002 » Wed Oct 19, 2011 4:23 am

I'm aware that Beast Wars Grimlock (White Raptor)suffers from GPS, specifically his main body and shins.

I was thinking about removing those parts I've mentioned and replacing them with those from Dinobot's (perhaps after repainting them). I have a Telemocha Dinobot, but I don't want to risk dismantling him, so I was thinking about purchasing a regular Dinobot.

Is it possible to do this? Would there be pin (like the one that keeps the Raptor's tail slot is) removals involved?

*facepalm* Why didn't I think of that?

There's only screws in the chest piece, so swapping that should be easy. There's a pin in the ankles, but they shouldn't be too hard to knock out.

Going to buy a Dinobot, brb.

What tool do you recommend to push those pins?

Hammer and a nail usually work for me. In *most* cases, the pins on the earlier toys aren't as difficult to remove as on the newer ones.
