Alt. Terrorcons [100%]
The Terrorcons were my only gestalt set that actually survived my childhood, only to be traded in for Magic cards about ten years ago... ah, well...
Yeah, I know they didn't even get full profiles in the old marvel issues and have almost nothing noteworthy about them, BUT I HAD THEM WHEN I WAS SEVEN, so there.
Comparison shots taken with bootleg/knock off Terrorcons. I may be a bit nostalgic, but I am cheap when it comes to vintage stuff.
First up, Blot:
Scion
robot (standing)
robot (action)
w/original
More later...

Freakin Sweet work there! Just wondering? Are you gonna make these combine? Because that would be so cool

Jeep w/cropped top

Robot w/original (thanks Osku!)
The visor is yellow on the toy, but red in the cartoon. I opted for red, obviously. RS has some other yellow highlights, but I dropped those since I didn't think they'd look too good.
One more left!

#5, Cutthroat
I hate the green paint I used. It coats very unevenly, and was a pain to work with. The sand color paint is great, though.
Corvette
robot w/original
I made the hood detachable so it could stow on the back
and also be used as a shield!
It can still be seperated into two pieces and put on the legs, though
Aside from the hood, I also cut the feaux chest into the shape of a beak and made the center flip farther out and painted eyes on it to make it resemble the original's chest more closely.

Brilliant - now combine 'em!
JK.
Gorgeous - I actually LOVE that green! I'm an enormous fan of metallic green paintjobs... although I suspect that you meant that you hated working with it. Believe me, though, it was worth it. And remoulding the chest into a beak is just genius. I think out of all these figs, this is the one who stands out as his character most. It's just a pity the Corvette mould didn't come with wings...

It does, in its way...
The green paint - yeah, I meant I don't like the texture of the paint itself, not the color. The color(s) is/are exactly what I wanted, but the paint wasn't easy to work with. It coated very unevenly - even with five and six coats. I gave up trying to make the green uniform after that and just went on with the other colors.
Of course, there are official toys that don't match their colors well either (Swerve and Overdrive spring to mind), so I suppose I shouldn't dwell on it too much

Anyway, I updated my thread at the Archive with all the high-resolution pictures this morning. If you're curious as to what they really look like... link's in my sig.

Thanks
That's actually Binaltech Black Convoy. I wrote a pretty thorough review of it for the Archive. It's a great piece, but way too expensive for me to buy anything like that more than once.

It's pretty simple, really. You just need to take the lower legs apart so you can hammer out the pins that the hood is mounted out. The hands can hold the hood/shield by the little flanges the hood mounts on. That's about it.
It has the benefit of being reversible, too. It just won't work with Binaltechs since the metal is too heavy for the robot to support off-balance.

Very nice job! The paint looks great on them. I'm guessing that Blot's head is based on the original figure's beast mode.
