Picked up Ironhide and on the back of the box theres a pic of this figure, was it ever released? I remember hearing about it a while ago but i never did see it in stores. Checked ebay and all i found was the normal Blurr so that got me wondering if it was ever put out.

That Blurr repaint got cancelled, at least when Hasbro were running Animated. Who knows if Takara will make it.

The cross sells that are featured on the Animated exclusives are mostly of canceled figures, especially on Rodimus. Hasbro has claimed to try and find them a home but nothing so far. The canceled figures include:

Deluxe
Toxic Oil Slick (Oil Slick repaint)
Fugitive Waspinator (Bumblebee repaint, was a candidate for new head alongside Ironhide)
Vortex Blurr (Blurr repaint)
Mercenary Swindle (Swindle repaint)

Voyager
Wingblade Optimus Prime (released in Japan, Hasbro uses deluxe mold)
Hydrodrive Bumblebee (released in Japan)
Blackout (released in Japan)
Mudbuster Bulkhead (Bulkhead repaint)
Golfire Grimlock (Grimlock repaint)
Thundercracker (Starscream repaint, the best of all!)

Funnily enough, some had prototypes leaked or even were featured in fairs.

Clearest answer I can give: I pondered those packages since they had printed on them "2010 Hasbro," which could mean it was printed even after the TF 2010 figure line which has "2009 Hasbro" printed on them, so one would think that they would remove the figures (that were supposedly cancelled) from the package before they released them.
However, I believe we definitely WILL NOT see Vortex Blurr, Fugitive Waspinator, Mercinary Swindle, Toxic Oil Slick, more TRU exclusive stocks, or Thundercracker and the voyager class figures. I'm not even sure Takara is willing to extend the line with new figures much longer before they officially pull the plug either.
However, peculiarly, if you go into the Transformers Products section on Transformers.com, both voyager class Mudbuster Bulkhead AND voyager class Thundercracker are listed...with robot mode, vehicle mode, and in-package pictures.
