Another year and yet I feel ten older

I am 20 today, truly a milestone in-and-of itself.

Seriously though, I'm happy for you. It's like what I told Shadowman: when I turned 20, I couldn't wait for the next year. Now I kinda wish I hadn't been so impatient. I feel old at 23. Hope you don't get to feeling old until you're actually getting that way o.0'

Happy birthday. Today is one of my best friends 20th as well.
Here's what I don't get though, growing up I was told that you become an adult when you turn 18. I turn 18 and I'm told I'm not a real adult until I'm 21. I turn 21 and I'm told by the federal government that I'm not considered an adult until I'm 22. I turn 22 and everyone says real adulthood doesn't start until your 25...WTF!

original sin: Yeah I now how you feel, they should really make up their @#*&ing mind when it comes to the "official" age of adulthood. Personally, I think it should be 20 that you're considered an adult for the sheer reason that's the first number that doesn't end in -teen, so it appeals to the logical side of my brain. Though my other side says it should be whenever you feel like moving out of your parents house ad live a life of your own
