Anyone have any pointers on how to fix the loose hips on Generations-Deluxe WFC Optimus? All suggestions welcome!

Had the same problem on mine, too.

Initially, I placed a small wad of blutack on the ball joint, which worked well enough, but I figured I needed to do a more permanent fix. Bought a bottle of clear nail polish (very fortunate that the cashier didn't seem to notice it among the other stuff I bought as "camouflage") and painted a couple of layers on the ball joint. Left it overnight, and it's all nice and tight now.

BTW, you can also use super glue for the job. I opted to use nail polish because of the little brush built into the cap that makes applications a lot easier.

Be sure to use clear polish, as colored ones will make it visible through a rectangular hole on the side of the leg.

Yeah. I need something too. I just got him yesterday and I really don't like him. The legs and the size. Compared to Henkei Prime he's really small. And the bunny ears? what's up wit dat??

I like him a lot. Not crazy about the alt mode, but I like the transformation and the bot mode. Mine doesn't have any looseness problems either.

But to add my .02, I think super glue works better. It's a more permanent fix. But you also have to be a lot more careful. The nail polish is removable if you mess up.

I traded mine off for an animated blurr, but before I did I fixed his loose joints with the super glue method, you add a layer of glue to the tab and let it dry without touching anything, works for balljoint too.
